I use a manual wheelchair, and since the wheels will sink in soft sand, my husband and I never considered a beach vacation but this oceanfront condo changed our minds. This condo stands out from the rest because of its ideal location. It’s on the first floor overlooking a strip of white beach that’s right in front of the ocean, so I could sit in my wheelchair on its lengthy balcony and have a fun beach experience like I was sitting directly on the sand. Every day we were entertained by acrobatic jet skiers, parasailers, and windsurfers, and all kinds of boats, including huge ocean liners, sailed by. And from the balcony, I even got a “farmer’s tan”! Because this condo is a corner unit that wraps around the southwest side of the building, it’s very private and peaceful. Plus, it overlooks a bird sanctuary so a variety of birds (not seagulls) would sit in the nearby palm trees. We especially enjoyed watching the hawks successively grab fish out of the ocean, and seeing the pelicans do their ungraceful head-first dive for fish always made us chuckle. Also, on a nearby palm tree we spotted a large iguana that I nicknamed “Igor” because of its scary appearance. This condo is part of a complex that is impeccably maintained inside and out. At its center, there’s a beautiful tropical garden with a wide variety of flora. I especially admired the colorful orchards. Also, within the garden there are inviting sitting areas, charcoal grills, and picnic tables. The adjoining pool and spa area is kept spotless and the water was always crystal clear; however, there isn’t a handicap pool lift so I was unable to enter the pool or spa which was my only disappointment. The owner is a delight to work with. He listened to my special needs and determined correctly that his condo would be a perfect spot for me, so because of our wonderful stay at Joe’s condo my husband and I have a new love---the beach! Consequently, we hope to return to this wonderful condo often.

The Most Wonderful Relaxing Place in The Keys
My time in Key West was absolutely wonderful. I brought my sister and my brother with me for some much needed sibling bonding. This apartment let us rest, relax and play some board games. We all had our own bedrooms of course I got the Master Bedroom which was in itself a treat, but this condo has plenty of space for much more then three people, maybe more like eight. With this apartment ever single room has a wrap around views that is incredible from sun raises to sun sets. Key West is mostly sunny but the view from windows of this apartment is breathtaking. I had such a pleasure to open my eyes at morning and see the ocean as the very first thing...everyday. The view from the balcony is on ocean and nature reserve, it is amazing. This condo is also close everything KEY WEST.... with Duval Street being minutes away of course we hit the town for food, drinks and awesome night life, and had fun going from bar to bar feeling really care fee! We also took one of those sail boat tours which was really a cool thing to do. Key West is perfect combination of everything...is it places where is easy to shop, go to beautiful restaurant or to one of the little cuban places with the best coffee ever .....I like the style, no one makes big deal about things. I always have such a good time when I go there. And I always stay at this condo too if it is available, It's huge and comfortable. Parking is very close and all property is well secure. I liked the area in gardens where is really big pool and jacuzzi with plenty chairs and space. Everything is always clean. In every room was flat screen TV, what more can you want!!!! -Maribel

Private paradise!
This property is amazing. You wake up to your own private view of the ocean! I love how in this unit, unlike others you have complete privacy. The pool and hot tub are beautiful. Every part of the island is 10 min away so we rented scooters. It was nice to have indoor parking for them at the garage. The unit was very clean. We stayed in and cooked some nights and the kitchen has a really nice lay out. Plus you get to eat your dinner on the deck looking at the ocean! I can't wait for next year to go back!!

AMAZING PROPERTY LOCATION
The property offered the most beautiful sunrise views to wake up in bed to! Every bedroom has sliding glass doors that open to the balcony overlooking the ocean and if you leave the blinds open you wake up to the most spectacular sunrises. The pool area was beautifully maintained and even provided noodles to float in the water with as well as lap lanes for those that like to swim for exercise. There was also the availability of BBQ grills and picnic tables poolside if you wanted to enjoy an outdoor cookout. I was blessed to find two absolutely huge beautiful conch shells in the water while enjoying a walk along the beach.The location is also 5 minutes from Duval street which was nice because you could enjoy the craziness but have a place to chill and relax that was quIet. Would highly recommend renting scooters to get around, much easier to find parking than it is with a car. Property also offers a very helpful security staff. Definitely would return here it was a wonderful vacation experience!

I rent starting the first of the month till the end, or longer. We do not rent daily or for one or 2 weeks due to licencing restrictions, but you do have options... Once you pay the monthly rate, you have the option of using the property for as many, or as few days as you would like during that calendar month. You may also share your time with friends or relatives, provided everyone appears on the same lease. You have total flexibility with your arrival dates and departure dates, as long as the dates fall within that particular calendar month.
If you would like to bridge (2) months, you would have to pay for both months and have the luxury of arriving and leaving on your schedule.. Please check in the rates section for pricing.
Beginning with the Month of May, rates are so inexpensive, they are a third of seasonal rates so its a great value!
OCEANFRONT… There is nothing like it. To me, it means being directly on the shoreline with nothing between you and the sensation of the ocean. Totally different from Ocean View, which could mean having to lean over your balcony and look up the side of the building while your partner holds your legs so you don’t fall, all to see a partially obstructed or distant view of the ocean.
Oceanfront is like “front-row-center” at a concert. Going VIP… nothing else comes close; everyone else takes a seat behind you. It’s why you spend all your money to go on a tropical vacation. Everyone wants it… only the 1% actually enjoys it.
For a small island, Key West has very few oceanfront properties. Not only is this suite Oceanfront, it is also one of the one of the largest oceanfront suites in Key West. You are literally about 20 yards to the shore line.
From your 90 ft. long wrap around balcony, you will enjoy magnificent unobstructed ocean views. The patio is so long, you can view the sunrise from one end and the colorful sunset from the other.
This suite is located in the most private, secluded and most desirable portion of the building, away from the pool area and the noise and traffic of Roosevelt Boulevard. Directly in front of you, take in the sights, sounds and smells of the ocean. To the far right, is Berg Nature Preserve. The only sounds you will hear are those of the ocean birds and wind surfers cutting along the waves. Being in such a secluded area, away from the city lights, the sky is so dark you feel you can touch the stars. Enjoy a nightcap off the master balcony with a loved one, while gazing up at a full moon.
All bedrooms and the living room have spectacular views of the ocean as you can see from the pictures. There are newly installed reinforced sliding glass doors, which can be left open to allow the tropical trade winds to flow freely throughout your living space.
As mentioned, this is one of the largest oceanfront suites in Key West, so there will be plenty of room for you and your guests to have their own space. This 3 bedroom 2 bath suite is furnished with one king size bed, one queen, and 2 single beds that can be combined to make a king (upon advance request). All 3 bedrooms have a magnificent ocean view like none other. There are also 2 single roll-away beds and an oversized sectional in the living room.
Upgrades include free high-speed wireless internet access, so bring your wireless devices, laptops, and computers. All bedrooms are equipped with new flat-screen “smart” television with Hi-Definition Cable. The master bathroom is equipped with a “spa design” shower with a body sprayer. Master bath includes his and hers separate vanity areas, along with large walk-in closets.
There is also a new washer and dryer for your convenience. For an additional charge, daily or weekly housekeeping can be provided.
You don’t have to eat out every night. The eat-in gourmet kitchen is large, fully-equipped with high-end appliances, including name brands such as Sub Zero and Jennair. Also included are microwave, blender, toaster oven, coffee maker, toaster, table settings, dishes and pots and pans. Take a scooter ride to pier fish markets and bring home some fresh jumbo gulf shrimp and stone crabs for dinner tonight as you enjoy the sunset from your outside patio.
Amenities: there is really no need to leave the property. Grab your towel and flip flops and head downstairs. Take a dip in the 70 ft. heated Olympic pool, located just feet from the water’s edge. Recline on the deck and work on your tan. Relax your muscles in the oversized 12 person in-ground heated Jacuzzi. Take in the well-manicured lush landscape including all varieties of orchards and tropical flowers. BBQs are situated near the shaded pavilion for your convenience. Bathrooms, lockers and Hot Stone saunas are conveniently located poolside.
Just a few steps to the left of the property is Smathers Beach, Key West’s longest beach where plenty of activities are located including volleyball, sailboat rentals and parasailing.
For a nominal fee, local bike rental companies will drop off “Beach Cruisers” to your doorstep. Ride the numerous bike paths and trails, peddle along the beach, or take a 10 minute ride down to Duval Street and some afternoon shopping and lunch.
On your vacation, I suggest you do something different and rent a Scooter or electric car. They are a fun and exciting way to explore the island.
Also, enjoy a round of tennis. On property is one of Key West’s only clay tennis courts. Also available free of charge are two lighted hard courts and handball courts.
One covered off-street parking space is provided, and ample guest parking spots are located outside. The property is very safe and secure with full-time, around the clock security patrol.
The property is located close access to the airport and car rental area and about two miles to Malory Square, Duval Street, the shopping district and cruise ship port.
Check in time is 4pm. Check out is 10am.
You must be 25 or older to rent this unit. Not available to spring break students. Please indicate ages of all renters in correspondence.
