Prefect place for a family!
We had a wonderful time at the fishbowl house! Very clean and had everything you need plus more! We enjoyed the back porch. Which is where we spent our time when we were at the house! My 7 yo learned to kayak and loved fishing from the dock! Perfect Prefect Prefect! Will definitely be back! And even thought the house is on the main road , you couldn't hear any traffic noise inside and backyard was very quite and so peaceful!

Absolutely amazing place
Exceeded our expectations. The home was so nice and clean and welcoming. The neighbors next door and down the canal were so friendly. We went kayaking a few times and were impressed every time! This will be a place we come back to if we get the chance again. This place I'm combination with Bird's Underwater Swim with Manatee excursion was a great way to spend our 2nd honeymoon

Beautiful and Fun!
We had an amazing stay at this property. Not only was is clean, well put together, but it's location was perfect for our family get away. The back yard is amazing. Sitting out on the dock with a glass of wine watching the wildlife was relaxing and fun. We took the kayaks down the canal and then to Monkey Island, which was a two hour round trip. We also snorkeled with Birds Underwater on their early morning tour Manatee tour. That experience was unforgettable. The interaction we had with the Manatees was amazing. I highly suggest it. We had our 14 and 7 year old boys with us, both whom enjoyed everything just as much as we did. For those that want something off the beaten path there is an Alpaca Farm just up the road that is free and they sell some beautiful things. We will certainly be back!

Clean, newly remodeled house on canal of Homosassa River. Two docks and two double kayaks included. Two-night minimum stay. Screened-in back porch overlooking banana, orange, grapefruit, and fig trees.
Paddle to the clear fresh waters of Homosassa River outside of Homosassa Springs State Park, see their website. Manatees gather 300 yards from house to winter in 72-degree water. You may swim with manatees. House owned by Birds Underwater Dive Center, see website, who will rent you necessary snorkel gear and explain rules of engagement with manatees.
Great swimming in summer. Great fishing. Walk to state park two blocks away to view manatees and other indigenious animals.
