Homosassa, Citrus County, Florida, is known as the Florida Nature Coast and easily accessible from Tampa and Orlando airports, a short hour or so away. Visit Disney World, Sea World, and all the Orlando attractions, then come home to peace and tranquility. Tampa, St Petersburg, Clearwater are an easy reach via the Suncoast Parkway. You won't need to go far for a beach, just 30 or so minutes from our home you can explore a beautiful Gulf Coast Beach without traffic, congestion, and spring-breakers. If you enjoy a laid back, waterfront location, you just found it. Navigate from your doorstep into Salt River and Tiger Tail Bay then on to the Gulf. The Scallops are plentiful in season. The Gulf produces delicious fish catches and clear calm waters. Conveniently park your own boat just steps away from your door. Enjoy your own grill for family cookouts, or just relax on the screened wrap around porch overlooking the River where Dolphins, Manatees, Eagles, Cranes, and more wink at you. Our 2-Bedrooms with 2-Private Bathrooms are just a small perk in this approximate 1,100 square foot home. We offer a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The home sleeps six comfortably. Upgraded furniture and furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen and 116 inches of new flat screen televisions for your vacation waterfront enjoyment. Our location is perfect for walkers, just stroll on our Natures Trail path along Otter Creek and see the early arriving shrimp boats. Bicycles are welcome in the neighborhood on our low traveled streets. Visit the ruins of the Old Civil War Era, the Yulee Plantation Sugar Mill. Pick up tonight's dinner straight out of the saw grass along the flats of the Gulf. Scallop season is a busy time on the Homosassa River. Folks visit from all over the world to Scallop.
