Fry up your just reeled in fresh caught fish... This is living! Swim with the Manatees, Bird Watch, enjoy numerous area activities, State Park Wildlife Zoo, ride your bikes, walks in the community, restaurants and bars close by with live music. 'Water-Water everywhere!' This River is fed by many fresh water springs and the river is beautiful. A peaceful and tranquil quaint fishing village where stress is not allowed. Step out of the Disney Box… Go there, have fun, fight the people and traffic, then come home to Sunset Point on the Nature Coast of Florida and get a new prospective on Florida Life.
Our Sunset Point home is clean, quaint and comfortably decorated and stocked with upgraded furniture and furnishings, sleeping four-six happy people. Our property consists of nine acres, surrounded by the Homosassa River and Otter Creek. Google Sunset Point and get a birds-eye view of our home and the River.
Our home offers Two-Queen Bedrooms with private Bathrooms, One-Queen Sleeper Sofa, and around 1,100 square foot living area upstairs. Step outside just a few steps from the private 70-foot boat dock where Fishing and scalloping is terrific.
Enjoy the moon from our Master Bedroom balcony and enjoy a full view of the river from our wrap around screened porch across the living area. From inside our home you see nothing but water, birds and boats. On the other hand, relax under the moonlight in front of the fire pit. Step into our world of carefree relaxation, peace and tranquility. Imagine being in a quaint fishing village… yet close to everything. Bring your Boat, Jet Ski, Kayak, Fishing Gear and Bicycles. Our weather is most always great and the Sun Shines every day.
Fun activities abound in the area. We have restaurants and bars with live music close by in the community. Walk or ride your bikes for exercise around the community, especially along our private Nature’s Trail. Watch the shrimp and crab boats unload their catch of the day. Within a 30-minute drive, you can be beachfront on the “uncrowded” Gulf of Mexico sandy beach. Like the hub of a wheel, in a short drive you can find most everything you may desire. Weeki Wachee where live Mermaids perform in a deep clear springs is close by. Silver Springs-Ocala and Tarpon Springs located less than an hour away. We are located less than an hour from Tampa Airport (TPA)/Bush Gardens-Tampa Bay Bucs…Tampa Bay Rays… Tampa Bay Lightning… and just a short drive further to Orlando/Disney and all the Worlds that you can stand. Drive to Cedar Key in just a little over an hour. The Nature Coast is a Bird Watching Haven with Eagles nesting on a River sign in front of our vacation home ... This is truly 'A Place to Replenish Your Soul!'
