My family and I spent a week in the cottage and surrounding Anna Maria Island.We had a very relaxing vacation by the sea and enjoyed every ammentity the cottage offered.The comforts were those of our own home. Sheila was a perfect host indeed for any need we had.We definitely would return.

Great Vacation!
I visited with my wife and 3 year old daughter for a week and we loved it! My daughter loved the kids bedroom (she wants it at home!)! The backyard (pool, landscaping, grill) was beautiful and a great way to wash off the salt after a long day/cook dinner. Enough seating in the living room/dining room/florida room/backporch/pool for a family of 5 no matter where you want to hang out. 2 blocks to the trolley (we rode it daily) and an extra block to the 45th Ave beach access, which was never crowded. Over-all we had a great stay, Sheila was very helpful before, during, and after our stay (left some valuables behind and were able to recover very easily). We will be back :)

Perfect Location!
Stayed at the Purple Parrot the month of January. What a wonderful home to stay. The neighborhood is quiet, easy walk to the beach and trolley. The location is easy on and off the island when traffic is busy, close to Publix's. The home is decorated tastefully with beach accents and beautiful landscaping. Poolside is very private. Plenty of rooms to relax and read a book, enjoyed meals in the screened in porch, or enjoy the sun beside the pool. Shelia was very sweet and wanted to make sure we had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. Plan to return!!!!

Too Cute!! Cottage with that Olde Florida Charm. NEW on market with NEW HEATED PRIVATE POOL. Bring your boat the neighborhood boat ramp just across street. Not a busy ramp, only for this street and trailers go back to the house. We also have a fenced in area for your trailer. 2 Bedrooms w/ 2 Full baths. Cottage has a large livingroom w/55in HD TV + Wi FI. Master bedroom has HD TV and a great view overlooking tropical pool. Sunroom also overlooks pool with Queen sofa bed. Large screened. Lanai overlooks pool with table & chairs + comfey sofas. The beach is a short stroll away with Free Trolley stop on the way. Fully equipted kitchen with dishwasher. Also full size washer & dryer. We have 4 adult bikes, beach wagon, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler + New gas grill all for your enjoyment. Free long distance service in USA.
This is a very quite residential neighborhood just off Manatee Ave and close to Manatee Public Beach & Beach Cafe. Easy On and Off Island. NO Smoking in cottage/ OCCUPANCY 6 MINIMUM STAY ( 7 NIGHTS ).
