The house was great and just like the pics. The owner was great to work with. He is very techy and was quite patient with me when I had trouble just turning on the cable TV. The kitchen is equipped with lots of spices, etc. that saved on grocery bills. The outside space is great and the pool was clean and very refreshing on the unseasonable warm days. I was surprised there was so much traffic on Gulf Drive at the time of year we chose to travel. I took advantage of the bicycles in the garage to scope out the island.

Family of 5 with a pet
We stayed at the lemon cottage for a week this summer. We are a family of 5 with a dog. This house was perfect for us. It was roomy and spacious and completely what we needed. No carpet which is perfect for pets and kids. Everything was modern and kept up to date. My kids enjoyed the pool and with just a short drive to the beach it was great. The house was well equipped with everything and we will most definitely rent there again.

Excellent Outdoor Space
The Lemon Cottage was the perfect relaxing location for our family vacation. The outdoor lenai/pool area had super landscape and was quite comfortable in temperature due to the setting. The cottage provided every item that you could possibly need on vacation. Everything that you may need is ready for you to use and enjoy when you arrive. The cottage was well taken care of and quite comfortable. The owners were AMAZING and made the experience perfect.

Totally Carefree Vacation!
We (husband and wife) had a truly enjoyable and rejuvenating stay at The Lemon Cottage. We loved the comfortable king sized bed, the screen covered, heated swimming pool, the neighborhood, the spaciousness of the cottage, and even the Netflix option for TV. Everything we needed was there, except for our food, but basic condiments were there. The place was very clean and VERY cheerful in decor. Chris was extremely nice to deal with. Any issues we had (almost none) were eagerly dealt with and resolved by him.

Nestled in a quiet residential boating community across from prestigious waterfront homes, you'll come across the Lemon Cottage. It's the perfect place to stay to enjoy all that Anna Maria Island has to offer. Lemon Cottage is a short stroll from the white sandy beaches and stunning sunsets of the Gulf coast. Centrally located just over the Manatee Bridge, the beach house is close to shopping, restaurants and the Manatee Public Beach and Beach Cafe.
With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, Lemon Cottage accommodates 4 to 6 people comfortably. The newly renovated open concept cottage is fully equipped with all the amenities you would expect. The property has a large covered lanai, tropical landscaping including mature pink grapefruit, orange, mango and coconut trees and a key lime bush surrounded by lush palms and a heated plunge pool.
The updated master bedroom features a king size bed topped with premium soft 500 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. The second bedroom has a new versatile twin over queen bunk bed and an ensuite bathroom. To ensure a restful night, we've equipped both bedrooms with new, quality mattresses. You also have a choice of one of two new queen sofa beds - one in the living room and one in the Florida room.
The key feature of this property is the sizable outdoor living space. The large screened lanai has ample room for a comfy seating area, dining table for six and the heated plunge pool.
The house features recently updated furnishings, mattresses, bedding, with a recently updated interior, (remote venting skylights, granite counter tops, flat panel tv's etc.).
Our rates are based on a 7 day minimum Sat-Sat stay.

About an hour’s drive south of Tampa, Anna Maria Island is widely recognized as a bit of unspoiled perfection. There are no high rises on the Island – the maximum allowable building height by law is three stories. The chain restaurants have stayed on the mainland, not the Island. The speed limit is never more than 35 mph and the sun shines an average of 361 days a year with an average temperature of 84 degrees. With beach cottages and canal homes, the Island has a relaxed charm reminiscent of the Florida of yesteryear
The seven miles of un-crowded gulf coast beach are perfect for soaking up the sun during the day and watching breath taking sunsets in the evening. For those hankering to drop a line, the island has three fishing piers. There are also fishing charters for the more adventurous.
Dining options on the Island are plentiful with many restaurants offering a picturesque view of the water along with the meal. There are plenty of local shops to explore offering beach supplies, crafts and souvenirs. Visitors can stroll as they search for a memento of their stay made by one of the local artists and artisans.
A free trolley service runs the length of the Island and is a convenient way to get around.
