Comfy, clean, & quiet in beautiful surroundings
As a travel nurse I move as often as every 13 weeks and frequently use VRBO. This has been among the top 3 places I've stayed and my interactions with the owner have been in the top 2. I must say that our expectations were exceeded in every way. The condo is very roomy, bright and decorated beautifully. I loved the full walls of sliding glass doors in the living, dining, & bedroom. The bed is VERY comfortable - to the point that I wrote down the brand to buy for a second bed in my home. The shower is big with great water pressure, and having a drying rack provided was a great touch. We have learned to travel with our own kitchen essentials, linens, games, etc and other than pulling out our favorite frying pan and a few extra washcloths we left all of our own stuff packed. All the kitchen essentials are provided, along with linens, puzzles, DVD's, even spare lightbulbs!! The pictures absolutely do not do this condo justice - it's very nice. The resort, Grenelefe, is very quiet - I seldom saw or heard any neighbors and I slept during the day with no problem. The golf course is extremely well kept and there are always employees out and about keeping things immaculate. We didn't use the pool or any of the other facilities while here so I can't say anything about them. This is an easy drive to all the Orlando attractions but is "out in the country" - BEAUTIFUL scenery - orange groves, fields, lakes. No traffic, close to some great local eateries, grocery stores, and close enough to either coast for a day trip to the beach. Another reviewer mentioned the upstairs neighbor possibly having wood floors and it being noisy - no wood floors - it is just squeaky floors. I grew up in an older house and it just sounds like home and wasn't an issue for us at all. Overall - fabulous experience and we will definitely want to stay here again if I have another contract in the area! Thank you SO much Scott!

It was wonderful place for vacation
I really like the location and vacation apartment itself. It is a luxury Appartment and my family and I had a really great time. We will love to stay again in future.

Stay in Haines City for Florida Ironman 70.3
First, a word about Scott, the owner. Very responsive, great communicator. Excellent owner! Very positive experience with the condo. It's very clean, and super comfortable. Everything is easy to use. Internet/TV works. One small point, the people upstairs are "heavy walkers". Wasn't horrible, but a little annoying a couple of times. The location was perfect for my stay. I was down for just over a week preparing for, and participating in, the Florida Ironman 70.3 in Haines City. I was looking for quiet, and I got it! Lots of country roads for safe cycling and running. The resort itself has seen better days. The golf courses are just "ok". They charge about 35 bucks a round in the afternoon with a cart. I would suggest staying at Scott's condo, then booking golf other places. The pool is very clean, with lots of chairs/lounges, no issues at all! The drive from the airport takes about an hour. There are a few tolls on the road I took, but only a couple of dollars total. Very easy drive. The condo is only a short drive (10min) to Haines City. Groceries, Restaurants, Bars, etc. Not a lot, it's a small place, but certainly everything you need. I really enjoyed myself. Not sure when/if I'll be back in central Florida, but I'd stay here again for sure.

Wonderful and relaxing!
Another wonderful two month stay at this lovely property. Everything was perfect. Area is close to everything one might need. Tried different eating places nightly. Something for everyone. Our condo had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Nothing was missed. Looking forward to our next stay. Can't wait!

Florida beauty at its best
This condo had all you need for a relaxing time in central Florida. The owner is always there for you if needed. Nice people you’ll meet at the beautiful pool. A plethora of restaurants in the area. I hope to go in the future many times. If you golf more than reasonable. “Enjoy”

Lovely and quiet unit, convenient to the main road
We had a great stay in this lovely unit! We come to Grenelefe every December and our normal unit is no longer available. This unit is convenient to the main road so getting in and out is a quick process and you don't hear a lot of road noise. The kitchen has all the basics you would need for normal meals. The unit is lovely - furnished nicely with plenty of room for the two of us. I especially loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. We usually have to schlep our laundry to the laundry room and this was just awesome! The only drawback is cell service. We had spotty service in the unit we used to rent near the pool. Using Verizon at this unit it was nearly useless, although we could text just fine. Every call I tried to make dropped. Most of Grenelefe is always very spotty and we were aware of that already. No stars taken off because it was actually nice to unplug. The owner is a dream to work with - very responsive. His directions about operating the alarm system were spot on and we had no difficulty whatsoever using it. We hope to get back here on a regular basis!
