As a family of six, this place is ideal for any family vacation. We needed to get away just us to relax, to reset, and reconnect as a family. We are constantly caught up in the busy life with kids, activities and work. Balmoral was the perfect setting for us to take a step back and enjoy each other as a family. So much to do at this resort. Our kids had so many highs and no lows on this trip. To start the townhome was gorgeous, clean, and perfect in size and space. Our kids truly felt like it was home. The home gave us everything we needed in the kitchen, the rooms, and we did have a garage for our vehicle, which was super comforting for us. The resort is safe and secure, I felt comfortable letting my older kidos venture out and explore. We did get rained out on our first day there, which could have been a bummer because we traveled all the way from San Antonio, Texas to stay in doors…..I think not and Balmoral was the place to help make sure we had other options to enjoy our stay. It just so happened to rain on Movie night (which is held out on the lawn), it was brought indoors and they provided popcorn! Loved it! But what really caught everyone’s attention on that rainey day was the arcade room! There was something in there for everyone, from my two year old to my husband, we all had something to do in the arcade room. Of course my husband and I conquered the large screen pac-man game against our young ones, whoot whoot. Even with rain they made it possible for us to have activities to do together as a family! Next, the water park! The water park the water park, it was amazing! The sun came out the next days and we took full advantage of the beautiful Florida weather. Balmoral had something for every age in the water park. The adults and teenagers have the water slides and the young ones have smaller slides and play areas with water spouts. The pool is so beautiful and enchanting. I tanned while sipping on a pina colada then cooled down in pool. But the best part besides the amazing room, amazing views, amazing amenities….was the one of kind staff. From the maintence to the front desk, everyone there treated you so kindly. We had to order a baby gate for the stairs, they installed it right away, if we had any questions they answered quickly and effectively. I felt as if they were with me every step of the way from planning to departing. They will send you confirmation emails before, during and after your stay. We do not take trips often but I am so glad we stubbled upon this diamond in the rough! I would give them 10 Stars if I could and recommend this resort for all occasions, family getaways, romantic getaways, family reunions, or any vacation you have in mind in Central Florida, stay at Balmoral! It is truly at the heart of everything!
