Hutchinson Island is a quiet, serene, Old Florida island that is a hidden gem. Minutes from Vero Beach or from the Historical Downtown Fort Pierce music scene, one can easily enjoy a great night out and return home to listen to the waves on the balcony. Everything you can imagine or need is right on property: pool table, clubhouse, card room, downstairs bar with locked, private storage and ice machine, fully equipped gym with sauna and dressing area, outdoor jacuzzi, heated swimming pool, grill, outdoor dining area, private beach access, tiki beach/shower area, tennis, bikes, lending library, huge lobby, beach chairs with private storage including umbrellas, surrounded by state preserves, fishing, golf close by, the National SEAL museum & state park are one mile away which includes outdoor volleyball and a children's playground with additional parking and beach access. Across the street you can go hiking on Jack Island and discover Florida wild life. Along the bridge are boat launching parks and fishing is a local pastime. You won't find tacky franchise restaurants on the island, (but they're close enough on the mainland) just wonderful unique fresh seafood restaurants with fantastic views and live music! Downtown has a fair-priced farmer's market every Saturday morning alongside the marina, charming shops, & restaurants, antiquing, tiki bars, fish feeding, art, the Manatee Center, botanical gardens, public library, ice cream/coffee shop, live music, boat rentals and touring boat rides with deep sea fishing available.
