This was our first visit to Duncan's, but our 4th visit with one of their bungalows. Kathy is a fantastic host and the response from questions asked is quick & prompt. Duncan's place was just as described and a wonderful getaway. We look forward to our next visit(5th) at one of their bungalows. Thank you Duncan & Kathy as always a fantastic & relaxing trip for the entire family.

BACK YARD - BACK YARD - BACK YARD
My family (myself, wife, 17 year old daughter, 12 year old son, & furkid) stayed at the Tropical Beach Bungalow the week of April 1 - April 8. Don't get me wrong, the inside of the house is very nice...but it is the back yard that makes this Tropical Bungalow a Tropical Paradise. It has a spacious heated pool, sandy beach type areas to sit in the sun (or under large umbrella), gazebo area to take a break from the sun, and a nice patio area to eat any meal at. And, to make this back yard even more inviting, it is completely enclosed with wonderful palm trees and other Florida vegetation. It is simply an awesome back yard. Duncan was also an extremely conscientious & accommodating as a host while we were there. The previous 4 years we had stayed in Sarasota...this was our first time staying in Fort Myers, and getting to explore another area of Florida. We had a wonderful time while we were there...and didn't really want to leave. We were just not sure if the next guest would mind us hanging out during their week... ;-)

Tropics without the need to board a plane
Stayed over Memorial Day Week/weekend. This was our second time here. So needless to say, we absolutely love it. I generally don't do many repeat stays, even though I frequently do enjoy most of the places I find through VRBO. But Duncan's stands out, by far, as one of the nicest places. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE his place. Makes me feel like I'm in St. Lucia, minus the expensive flights. It's like being at your own private beach. Well-equipped with everything you need. Just pack your clothes and pop over to Publix for your groceries. Pop in the tunes and start the blender, perfect place to spend vacation.

Awesome House
This house has everything you need. Just look in a drawer or cabinet while working in the kitchen and you will find what you need. Plenty of linens, towels and blankets. The whole house is inviting and you feel like you are at home, but in much warmer weather! The backyard is spectacular. Sunny and shaded areas depending on your preference and the beach like environment is a lot of fun. We had our dogs with us and they loved the free run of the yard and we did not have to worry because the whole yard is fenced in. Our dogs are escape artists and they never got out. We stayed for two weeks and could have easily stayed for a month except we had to return to work! The house is in a very quiet neighborhood close to stores, shopping and many fine restaurants. Duncan checked on us a couple of times during our stay to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. All was good. I would give it more stars but they only allow five. We will be back! Thanks for letting us enjoy your property.

Duncan's Tropical Beach Bungalow is one of a kind in Southwest Florida. Perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary, or, romantic getaway. Complete privacy...Clothing Optional...The 'Bungalow' has the feel of the islands with solid yellow pine and Mexican tile floors, high end West Indies style furnishings, Florida plantation shutters, crown molding in every room, gourmet kitchen...even an outdoor shower adjacent to the master bath for a unique shower under the stars.
French doors open onto a literal 'jungle' of palms (over 170) and bananas, two sandy beaches bordering the pool. Wriggle your feet in the sand, take a dip in the oversize solar heated pool, or, take a nap in the hammock. The vegetation is so dense, you can skinny dip in complete privacy. You would never guess you were surrounded by civilization.

Located in the historic McGregor Blvd. district of Fort Myers, Duncan's Tropical Beach Bungalow is conveniently located to our famous beaches, Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel/Captiva Islands, about 20-25 minutes; Regional SW Int'l airport is 25 minutes away.
We opened our 'paradise retreat' to guests in January 2009. One half of our guests have returned 2 and three times...One couple recently returned for the 4th time...pretty much says it all!
We realize that our prices are substantially below market for similar properties, (if you could find one) ...we also suspect that once you experience our lifestyle, you will be back, or, at least...recommend us to your friends.
