perfect for our family's stay!
I’m not sure I can say enough good things about this condo, the location, or renting from Don! First off – the condo is absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed, and everything was in great condition. The furniture is very nice, functional and comfortable, and we all slept quite well on the beds. There are plenty of clean, plush towels and some extra blankets. We had everything we needed for the beach – towels, chairs, cooler bag, and even some floaties and sand toys. The view from the lanai was gorgeous! We enjoyed staying in the Carlos Pointe complex as it’s so close to Lovers Key and much quieter and less congested than the north end of the beach. The complex itself was clean, quiet, and seemed quite safe. I will say checking in was a bit confusing. It took quite a while before our parking pass was available. And navigating the property is a little cumbersome since everything is locked down by keys or pass codes. In fact, we never did figure out how to get access to the bathrooms by the pool. But, I suppose that’s a price you pay to stay in a relatively secure place. As for Don, every single interaction with him was lovely. He was very responsive and helpful at every turn. It’s clear that he takes pride in this condo and wants his guests to enjoy it. If we ever make it back to this area, we definitely hope to rent from him again! If I had one criticism of this place, it would be that the wifi was pretty terrible. I’m sure it kept the kids from being on their screens too much, which I appreciated! But we also didn’t have the greatest phone reception with Sprint in this area, so sometimes trying to look up information on our phones was a real challenge. (First world problems!) This was one of our family's best vacations ever, and we are so glad we chose to stay here.

Great condo
Condo exactly as described. Very comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location to relax and enjoy walks on the beach at sunrise and sunset. If you like sea shells, this is the beach for collecting them.

Welcome to the beach! Fabulous sunrises from the lanai and great beach sunset await you at this two bedroom, two bath updated condo at Carlos Pointe. Located on the south end of the island, this condo offers beautiful views of Lovers Key State Park and the Gulf of Mexico from your lanai.
You can enjoy intimate dinners prepared in your fully-equipped kitchen, or make use of the on-site grills and cook up a great meal. There is lots of boating and wildlife activity, making dining on the lanai a wonderful evening experience.
The living area is tastefully decorated. It's the perfect place for everyone to watch movies on the flat screen TV, play board games, read a book or for quiet contemplation.
The master bedroom's restful decor will ensure a great night's rest on the king bed-but also has a flat screen if you're looking for a late night program. The guest bedroom has twin beds and also has a flat screen TV. The living area couch is a sleeper for 2.
The heated beachfront pool offers a place for swimming or just enjoying our sun-filled days with great views of the Gulf and Lovers Key State Park (abounding in nature walks and shelling on the beach). You can also walk north to Times Square (although you may want to drive or rent bicycles - it's about 6 miles away). There are shops, restaurants and all the activities the island has to offer. Santini Plaza is north of Carlos Pointe by about a mile and also offers shops and restaurants to satisfy any palate.
