Beautiful home, fabulous location!
We are a 3 generation family that look for a special annual vacation spot. Pelican Landing was exceptional - the home is not just gorgeous, but very comfortable and well appointed. We like to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. We were happy just sitting and enjoying the view but the proximity to the beach was great for everyone. The adults all took long walks every day and the kids could play on the beach morning and evening. We enjoyed activities nearby. Dan was the perfect host and knows how to take care of his guests!

Third time better than ever
This is our third time to spend a week at Pelican Landing. Our trip and the Pelican Landing house could not have been better. Planning to book again next year.

Beautiful... Perfect...
The decor and layout are perfect. Landscaping and lighting are beautiful. Kitchen is well stocked and there were tons of towels. The walk to the beach is easy and everything was amazing. Dan was easy to work with and get a hold of when needed. Highly recommended and we will be back!!

Beautiful property with an excellent host!
We enjoyed a week at Pelican Landing with our family of 5 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs in June 2017. Dan was extremely responsive, friendly and easy to work with from the day we booked. The home itself is in excellent condition and offers an extremely well appointed retreat with everything you might need to be comfortable. The entire home is clean and well designed to allow people easy interaction or privacy, depending on what you're seeking. The master suite upstairs is gorgeous and provides a little escape for great alone time. The 2 bedrooms on the main level are comfortable and each a nice size. My teenage nephews loved the downstairs bedroom, since they felt it was like their own little apartment. The kitchen is amply stocked with any cooking items you might need. The living room area is very comfortable and easily accommodates a large family. The main floor and top floor offer stunning views of the ocean, which is really something special to wake up to each day. We loved the jacuzzi and made use of it quite a bit, even in the summer heat. The beach is just a short walk in front of you and is clean and not overly crowded. There's lots of wildlife around the property too- we saw several turtles and bunnies. We would highly recommend Pelican Landing as a rental property. Thanks for a great family vacation, Dan!

The October issue of Conde Travel Magazine ranked Amelia Island as one of the top ten destinations for islands in the United States. This article states, 'Whether it's the seemly endless green space or the unbelievable hospitable locals, readers agree that this Florida island is a beautiful, history-filled family location.'
Travel and Leisure Magazine ranked Amelia Island #3 as America's Most Romantic Destination. They state, 'Reader's love this barrier island town most for its parks and quaint historic downtown'.
Every year the Ritz of Amelia Island hosts the Concours d' Elegance which is the largest car show in the eastern United States.
The 12 mile by two mile island offers numerous golf courses, horseback riding on the beach, kayaking along with trails for jogging, running and biking.
The island is one of the oldest settled sites in America and offers town and ghost tours. The oldest bar in Florida, the Palace Saloon, offers evening entertainment along with numerous other bars, such as Amelia Tavern, and several restaurants ranging from waterfront fine dining, to French, Italian, Asian and Mexican restaurants. There are many seafood restaurants on the oceanfront to enjoy the locals catch of the day.
Nearby are several restaurants, the Salt (located at the Ritz), Bar Zin, Cucina South, Verandah, PLAE, Baxter's and Parkway Grill are all located in under a mile away. A personal favorite is David's downtown. It has a cosmopolitan atmosphere with a friendly service-oriented staff and a large menu of gourmet foods ranging from surf to turf.
