Barrier Dunes, our safe, gated community, has boardwalks, 2 pools (one is beach front & 1 heated 4 mo. of the year), lighted tennis courts, 3 fresh water fishing ponds, playground and pet stations throughout.

Enjoy the quiet, unspoiled, dog-friendly beaches of the Florida Panhandle! Nestled up to the State Park and surrounded by water, it is the perfect place for a nature lovers explorations.

Boating, restaurants and other diversions are only minutes away, yet many of our guest never leave Barrier Dunes.

Play tennis, swim in the pools, sunbath on the beach while watching the ever changing scenes, fish, crab, stir up a card game or read till your hearts content. Pet lovers are overjoyed at being able to bring along Fido, especially those who like to make an extended stay with us.

We know what it is like not to have what you need when you're on vacation! We try and provide as many of these extras a possible so you are focused on your vacation, family & fun & not on the basics!

We encourage you to catch your own dinner of scallops, crabs or fish & bring along some marshmallows and enjoy S'mores around the beach bonfire or roast hot dogs for dinner!

Our goal is to make your stay as good as it gets. To make room for the pooch in your car, we provide every basic essential we can think of (see details on site), but we don't stop there. Imagine a kitchen that is stocked w/spices, crock pot, waffle maker & crab pot. Picture yourself not having to pack the car with beach chairs, the boogie board, & beach toys. If you're bringing a younger beach goer...no need to pack the pack & play or high chair....we can provide in! Enjoy a grill on the gulf front deck. Relax to DVDs, games & cards.
