About The Area

Cape Coral, located by the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, is a real paradise. The climate is very pleasant not only in the winter. Even in the summer, you can feel very well. Florida has an average of 330 sunny days a year. The temperatures in the fall don’t drop under 20 - 23°. In the midsummer, the temperatures are between 28 - 35°. A light breeze crosses, however, the Gulf of Mexico. In front of Cape Coral, there are hundreds of inhabited and non-inhabited Islands.

Villa Helena is the best!

We stayed for 13 nights at Villa Helena, and we miss it already! Everything was just as it was shown in the pictures and description, which is all you can ask for. We will definitely stay there again if we are able! I thought the price was very reasonable for high-tourist time (Spring Break), especially for the value that the home provided! The property is very nicely maintained; perhaps a bit worn or dated in a few small areas, which is not unexpected in a home that was last renovated in 2011/2014. But there was nothing major that distracted from a very lovely vacation in Villa Helena. It was very well stocked with nice bath AND pool towels, blankets and dishes/utensils, and the previous renters had even left some dish/hand soap. Lots of different pillows to choose from, and very comfortable bedding. The pool and hot tub are beautiful and very well-maintained, as is the entire covered lanai area. The outdoor dining table on the lanai was awesome, and im not sure i ate a single meal indoors because of the beautiful setup including the ceiling fan and lights. The grill was awesome, a Weber that cooked at least half of our meals. One small complaint was that the air conditioning did not reach the Master Bedroom very well - the rest of the house was nice and cool, but the Master was a little warm and stuffy, and theres no ceiling fan (probably a good idea to add it!); however I simply bought a small $15 fan from Target and it became a non-issue! A note to parents with smaller children (ours were 4 and 6 when we stayed): most of the glasses/plates are ceramic/glass, so plan to bring plastic ones or purchase paper/plastic locally. Lots of very nice sculptures and centerpieces, so we moved many of them to higher shelves to avoid anything accidentally breaking - very nicely decorated, but potential trouble for small children. :-) And a note to Americans, most of the paperwork/directions is in German or loosely translated, so make sure to carefuly review to avoid any questions. Its all very straightforward, no hidden tricks, but my German isnt vey good, so i had to take some extra time to review. We had some small normal issues throughout, as you would in any rental, but Sigird was available at all times and very conveniently solved our small issues. Check-in and check-out was also very convenient and i received my security deposit refund in 4 quick days. Thank you again for hosting our family, we cant wait for an opportunity to visit you again! 5/5 stars for sure!

Villa Helena

Villa Helena is a beautiful property and the house was very clean and well-managed. The staff we interacted with were friendly and responsive. We also rented a boat through CCVS which made the experience even better - the canals are beautiful and once you get out into the Gulf and surrounding areas the scenery is incredible. We have rented through CCVS several times now and it has been a pleasant experience every time. I would highly recommend them.
