Everything needed for a relaxing family vacation!
This was our first family trip where we went with the flow. We had never been to the area, so just planned on spending a lot of time in the pool or on the beach, or driving around and finding new experiences. The floor plan and amenities were perfect for our family of 6, and there was enough to keep all the kids entertained, whether they were kayaking, fishing, swimming, playing games, or doing puzzles. We definitely overpacked! The house is also not far from Sanibel and Captiva, which were great places to spend the day if it was raining in Ft Myers, as their forecast was always sunny on the couple rainy days while we were there. We met up with my family from Norway, who were staying in a home not owned by Sue. Two days before we were leaving, my cousin called to say he had been informed their home had been damaged and they could not stay, and he had nothing else available for them. I reached out to Sue to make sure we were still ok, and she let me know all was well, since she was actually there right now, and she went above and beyond in finding a home that was available for my cousins. She made all the phone calls, and did the research for us, and found a home just kitty corner from this one. Fortunately, their owner did put them up in another home after all, but I was just blown away by the attentiveness and customer service we received from Sue. Our first full day there, the neighbors even brought us fresh picked mangoes from their tree! We had a wonderful time, and will definitely be back again someday.

Spectacular view
We were more than satisfied with our stay at this property. The home is very well laid out and has ample space for kids and adults. The bedrooms are nicely sized and the bed layout worked perfectly for our group. The kitchen has been nicely updated and has every appliance and kitchen item imaginable for use. We loved the kayaks and the neighborhood is very beautiful, quiet, and a great place to ride the bikes provided. But, the absolute highlight of this home is the beautiful wide and intersecting canal view from the lanai and pool area. Sunsets are stunning and sitting on the dock by the water was the most peaceful and beautiful part of our stay. Sue is a pleasure to work with and we had no trouble whatsoever with accessing the home when we arrived. It was extremely clean and well stocked. Thanks so much for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home. We hope to come back again soon!

Totally awesome place! The whole family loved it!!
We really enjoy our stay at your home. All the kids loved the pool and the big tv and more than adequate space for them play in 2 living room areas!. The air conditioning worked perfectly keeping us cool on those mid 90 degree days. The location on the canal is beautiful and gives more of a feel of being on a wide river then on some narrow city canal. My 3 year old told us all the way back to Connecticut that he wants to go back and stay at the "Florida house" and not go back to CT. The house was also fully stocked with accessories including fishing poles, tackle , bikes, pool toys and kayaks. Wich made staying there an absolute pleasure! The home is decorated delightfully And all the furniture it very comfortable.The Kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed for us adults and for the kids. Beds were very comfy also. We all agreed that we would love to rent this home again and it will be our first choice when we plan our next stay to Cape Coral ,FL! Thank you for wonderful accommodations!

The master suite with full bath is on one side of the home with the living room, dining room, kitchen, family room and laundry separating it from the other 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. The home has an open floor plan for entertaining, yet plenty of privacy for all.
The master has a king sized bed, 1 guest room has a king bed and the two guest rooms can be set up with 4 twin beds or 2 kings. This house sleeps 8 in the bedrooms. Add 2 additional portable king mattress and 2 twin size bed/couches and the home will comfortably sleep your entire group.
This is truly a home, not just a vacation rental, furnished with everything you could possibly need for a lovely, fun filled vacation! You'll only need to bring your swimsuit!
Boaters will love the 2 minute, around the corner, no bridge access to the river. It’s a quick boat or car ride to Sanibel, Captiva and the Gulf of Mexico with lots of fun park and restaurant stops in between. Ask owner for details on boat rental.
