John is the nicest person you can ask for. He went over and beyond to make our stay feel more like a getaway than a getting away from hurricane Irma. He even offered to stay in his own home if we didn't feel safe out there in the cabin. There's no one else out there like John. Thank you so much for everything. We loved it and had more than we needed.

Great Family Vacation!
We had a wonderful time at the Suwanee River Cabin! We enjoyed the river, the cabin, and bike riding from the cabin to the riverfront. We observed deer twice while riding our bikes. This was the first vacation we were able to bring our dog, which made it extra special! We went tubing down the Ichetucknee, playing at Bob's Riverplace, and scalloping in Steinhatchee!! I was excited to take our children to see this part of Florida, they had a great time and participated in activities new to them. We enjoyed a delicious scallop dinner in the cabin's fully equipped kitchen, which was the perfect way to end the vacation. We were sad to leave, but plan to return!

Get away from the city lights and noises with all the comforts of home. Very relaxing. Owner is above and beyond helpful but only if you need him.We cooked over the firepit on the river while fishing and the kids went canoeing, I will recommend this to anyone who wants to get away from it all.

If you like open space, horseshoes, hiking, river swimming and fishing this is the place. If I were to own a cabin. This would be it.

3BR Cabin on 24 wooded private acres with 500 feet of waterfront on the Suwannee River with a large dock. Bring your boat, ATV, dogs. Jeeptrail through beautiful cypress lowland forest to river. Fishing, bird watching, deer. (No hunting allowed)
Close to Mallory Swamp Wildlife Mgmt area with miles of ATV trails.
Over 2 dozen springs nearby for scuba diving, swimming Ichneetucknee River for tubing and kayaking just 25 minutes away; Nature Coast towns such as Stienhattchee, Cedar Key with access to the Gulf of Mexico just 45 minutes away. Gainesville, University of Florida, Ben Hill Grifffin Stadium 50 minutes. Orlando, Disney, Universal 2 hours.
Cabin has 3 bedrooms; 1 king with full bath, one bedroom with full bed and 1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds with shared full bath. All linens and bath towels provided. Bring a beach towel for the river/beach.
Kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, silverware, glassware, baking and cooking pans, microwave, oven, stove, large refrigerator. Full size clothes washer and dryer. No dishwasher.
Cabin is fully climate controlled with air conditioning and heat. Also lots of windows that open to let in fresh air and sounds of the Florida wilderness.Very private.
