Four generations of our family has enjoyed vacationing here and our home has been a hub of happy family gatherings and fun adventures. We have designed it with our large family in mind and have been pleased to share it with our guests who have enjoyed it as much as we have.
Our home features 5 bedrooms, 3 of the bedrooms have private bathrooms. We hope that as our children marry and have children, they will come to spend time with us and continue to enjoy Anna Maria Island with their children. Ideally located, Villa Christina is less than 2 blocks to most beautiful beach on the preferred north side of the island in the City of Anna Maria, Villa Christina, is also less than 2 blocks from the quaint shops and dining establishments of Pine Avenue and a brisk walk to the Anna Maria City Pier, which boasts of live music and breathtaking views of the Tampa Bay Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
Our spacious kitchen and comfortable great room open directly onto our pool deck. Family meals at our large reclaimed oak table take on a festive feel when they are enjoyed with a poolside vista. Our kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, two dishwashers and two sinks, a large convenient refrigerator and well stocked cupboards. The room is as beautiful as it is practical, featuring adjustable lighting, high end granite counter tops, and spacious light colored cabinetry. Cooks are not off slaving in a distant corner in our kitchen. Even while the cooks and dishwashers fulfill their duties, a glance outside will remind them that they are not in Kansas anymore. Those who are taking a swim in the pool, sunning on the deck, or relaxing in the great room are within sight of those preparing meals and cleaning up after them. Vacations are for togetherness... Even for those who have kitchen duty.
We created our home with the realities of family in mind and in addition to our double dishwashers, we have installed two washer and two dryers. Our main ground floor bathroom has 2 shower heads and plenty of room for the cousins, and easy access to the pool deck. Our ideal location is private, our poolside and large French doors are out of sight of street traffic. Beautiful tropical landscaping creates privacy and offers multiple seating options for enjoying sunshine, corn hole, or horse shoes. Our home is perfect for the family who hopes to stop at the Publix grocery store on the way to our home and spend the rest of the days away from cars and traffic and unplugged from the hassles of the real world.
Virtually everything you would want to do is a stroll or bike ride away so active families will want to return year after year. Still, every room is equipped with a flat screen TV and a powerful WiFi connection allows you to keep up with your jobs and your real life as necessary. Of course, Anna Maria is not remote, so a quick drive across the bridge provides you with all the conveniences and shopping options imaginable. Playing hard is exhausting so every bedroom is arranged for your comfort with high quality linens and amenities. You can play hard all day, eat as a family, never miss a sunset and return year after year to make new memories on one of the best vacation spots in the country.
