Also within steps of an arcade, a park with kiddie equipment, and a miniature golf course. And it is a short drive from 140 outlets, tax-free shops in Rehoboth Beach. Be sure to enjoy Bethany Beach's newest fine restaurant, 99 Sea Level Restaurant, and Oyster Bar, on the boardwalk just a block and a half from the Purple House.
What Does the Purple House Offer?
Ideal for families and large groups, the house sleeps 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19.
On the ground level are two masters with kings, one master with a queen and a twin, one bedroom with 2 twins that uses a hall bath, and a master with 2 sets of bunk beds. Upstairs in the living/dining/kitchen area, is the primary master with a king bed and a bath with a large, walk-in shower and a 2-person soaking tub. Also on this floor is a powder room and a private den with a self-inflating, queen aerobed. The third-floor loft has a small bedroom with a full bed, and a computer/work area. The large open-concept kitchen features an array of cookware and countertop appliances, two sinks and two ovens. There is a small beverage fridge in the laundry room to take overflow from the kitchen fridge. Our 2013 additions include all new appliances and a 50-bottle wine cooler. Amenities include Hi Spd Intenet and WIFI, five 5 HDTVs, DVD players and a home theater center. Breathtaking ceilings, tech lighting, and an array of bright colors make this home unique. A sensational setting and destination in itself, this home was designed by an award-winning architect and has been featured on tours and in-home design articles. Tile and hardwood in most rooms.

About The Area
The beach is about 30 yards away from the Purple House and there is off street parking for 6/7 cars. And if you need it, there is metered parking all along the beach and boardwalk. The beach has lifeguards, showers, and chair and umbrella rentals. You can buy food and drinks on the boardwalk which is near the house.
This has been the perfect house for the family, groups of golfers, reunions, wedding parties, showers, 'crafty ladies' gatherings, scrapbook weekends, small business or religious retreats, or just for a quiet vacation. You could lease this house for a weekend, week or a month, and enjoy every minute of the comfortable and beautiful surroundings provided in the furnishings, appointments, and neighborhood.
Things To Do In The Bethany Beach Area
The town of Bethany Beach – Called the Quiet Resort - is an easy 3-minute walk from the house. It is quaint beach town with about 4 blocks of stores and restaurants. The town has a good playground for children and a boardwalk where music will often be heard from the new bandstand. A few of our favorite restaurants include Bethany Blues BBQ, Baja Grille for great Mexican food, Parkway, Grotto's Pizza, and Sonoma’s, all in town. New this year and just a block from the Purple house is 99 Ocean Level, a restaurant and raw bar on the boardwalk, overlooking the beach, open all year.There is an arcade in town, and there are nearby public golf courses and watersports(see below).
Ocean and bay watersports in southern coastal Delaware - charter boat fishing, windsurfing. Local watersports: swimming, crabbing, clamming, boating, kayaking, jet skiing, sailing, sports fishing, beachcombing, surfing, shelling, windsurfing.
Day Trip about a half hour from Bethany:
Rehoboth Beach: The town is much larger than Bethany and boasts many shopping and dining options. You can also go antiquing. There is also fabulous sales tax-free outlet shopping at 140 Outlet stores. Lewes: Smaller than Rehoboth but a good day trip...very quaint.
