From the soaring ceiling in the Great Room with it's massive custom chandelier and mesquite mantel to the five bedrooms each with private bath to the TV den to the game filled basement gameroom, this house has it all. Chef's kitchen with six burner professional range and cuisinart cookware, Keurig and Bunn coffemakers, all spices and condiments and all paper goods, detergents,etc. Basement gameroom with shuffleboard, ping pong, foos ball and air hockey tables and 60" flat screen TV. Four bedrooms have flat screen TV's with satellite tv, four king beds, bunkroom with queen bed & two XL twins, basement gameroom has queen sleeper sofa with memory foam pad. There are three fireplaces, including one on the covered deck with teak rockers; deck also has dining table, gas grill with extra propane; patio below with fire pit and covered hot tub. Luxury linens, terry cloth robes, hair dryers and custom bath amenities are just a few of the things that make guests return over and over again.
Located in a prestigious area with a recreational facility with exercise equipmnet, racquetball courts, indoor pool and hot tub and access to four private stocked lakes. Close to the only grocery store in town and numerous restaurants and only 35 - 45 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area with the most snow in Colorado. Close to the San Juan National Forest and Weiminuche Wilderness with miles of hiking trails. It is a outdoor lover's paradise with the world's deepest hot springs just a few miles away in downtown Pagosa Springs. A downtown with interesting shops and hiking trails and the San Juan River flowing through it. Rent a tube and float the river in the summer, soak in a hot tub any time of year, ride horses, fish, hike the mountain trails or just sit on our deck and watch the deer come in to the little pond daily.
Pagosa Springs in located in the southwest corner of Colorado not far from the New Mexico border - an easy drive from most of Texas or there is direct air service to Durango, only an hour away, home of the famous Durango - Silverton train.
No renters under the age of twenty five, absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind. Maximum of 15 people allowed in the house at any time without prior permission; no parties, weddings, receptions, etc. without prior permission. Strict County ordinance for all short term rentals must be obeyed. Check in at 4 p.m.; check out at 9:30 a.m. House is monitored by outdoor cameras (only outdoors). Rental contract required with names of all occupants and their contact information required.
