Great poverty and restful time...

My brother and I and our wives spent the weekend at the cabin recently and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The place is country elegant, well-equipped and immensely spacious. The area, not far from Golden or Evergreen, is very scenic and is less than an hour from our Denver homes. What a fun weekend. Even with the snowfall, the driveway was kept open. We grilled out both nights and just had a good restful time in the mountains. Thanks Jeri...great place!

Big and Beautiful

We stayed earlier in March during a snow storm. What a large yet cozy home it is. A fantastic kitchen, large great room/family room, large dining room table, and plenty of different little areas to relax, have quiet time or hang out with friends and family. Well laid out with private bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. Best of all Jeri was very friendly and helpful, plus a bonus of hang out with the Alpacas. You can't go wrong with this place for close to Denver yet in a mountain setting.

Perfect home for our family Christmas!

Our family enjoyed 5 days during Christmas in this beautiful home. With 9 adults and an infant, there was plenty of space to be together as well as break away for quiet time. The bedrooms were ample (especially the gigantic master!) and there were plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare meals and we could comfortably gather around the table to eat or play games. Some of the musically-inclined in our group delighted in playing the organ and other instruments for our "family jam sessions" around the fireplace. The adorable alpacas watched our comings and goings intently, always bringing a smile to our faces. Jeri was a fabulous host, providing information, accommodating special requests, and even putting up a Christmas tree that we could decorate. The location gives quick access to I70, Golden and Evergreen, and reasonable access to ski resorts (some of our group ventured to Loveland and were able to enjoy a full day on the slopes). I highly recommend this home for a family gathering - all in our group kept commenting on how great of a spot for us it was. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! Thanks again, Jeri.

Spectacular property!

We spent five days in this lovely log home. It was the perfect place to gather for our son's wedding in Evergreen, just ten minutes away. This property is easily accessed, right off the 70 and 40. We found that we preferred to enjoy any free time at the house. We saw a group of deer saunter through the property one morning. My husband and myself, two married sons and their wives, our granddaughter and "groom to be" son all had plenty of space to spread out. The room for our six year old was darling. She had to invite all guests to tour her beautiful room:) The master bedroom and bath are huge! Three full and a half bath made it very easy for us all getting ready for the wedding. Jeri could not be more gracious. She met our future in-laws at the house before our arrival so they could place the welcome gifts out. She even haltered one of her alpacas so that our granddaughter could walk it with her. This home is really high end and the kitchen is fully outfitted. I had an electric mixer to bake a cake for the bride and groom and everything else we could possibly need to prepare meals for our group. The large deck was used for morning coffee, casual lunches and evening relaxing with a glass of wine while the men grilled. We highly recommend this lovely home. We only wish that we could have stayed longer!
