Thank you so much for allowing our family to enjoy your spectacular home! This was our second visit to the beautiful state of Colorado, and by far the best! We found the perfect spot in your home to enjoy the many activities offered nearby. Our stay was truly exceptional, it was absolutely everything we’d hope for. The attention to detail with your home decor was spot on for the location and style of your home. I can't say enough about the views, simply stunning! Plenty of room for our group of seven to enjoy peaceful alone time throughout the house. The trampoline was an added bonus we didn’t expect, but certainly a hidden treasure that brighten my 6 year old’s day. Beautiful home. Beautiful area
Thank you Craig and Linda for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! We couldn't have picked a better place to gather the family for our 40th anniversary celebration. We had rain for most of our stay, but got to enjoy a fantastic lightning show across the sky and mountain ranges one evening and the following evening were treated to the most intense rainbow that I think I have ever seen. Truly breathtaking! We were able to use your home as our "home base" for our activities in the area. The whole family participated in Arkansas river rafting one afternoon and jeep off-roading another day. The third day all were on their own and saw the Garden of the Gods, the Fossil Bed monument and toured Manitou Springs and Florence, Colorado (the antique capital of Colorado). For a summertime road trip, I would recommend Colorado Rd 86 for a truly breathtaking drive from Victor to Florence. There is so much to do in this area, there was no way that we could see everything that we had wanted to see. Beautiful, fun area! Your cabin sits on the side of the hill in a gorgeous area and has everything that one could want. Very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen for making meals and very spacious. We were a party of 7 and were able to gather around the large table for our meals comfortably and noticed that the table could extend for even more place settings if needed. We were able to sit out on the deck one evening to enjoy the view of Pike's Peak, breathe that crisp mountain air and watch the wildlife in the area while warming our hands around a cup of coffee. It was so peaceful! We would love to come back!

A piece of heaven
Thank you to Craig & Linda for making our 50th anniversary with our families such a memorable one. We couldn't have made a better choice to celebrate this way. We had an excellent time at their exquisite cabin with all the detailed decorating of the home. We call it a " piece of heaven" as it was so peaceful sitting on the deck and admiring all the beauty around it along with the wildlife in the area. The full moon from the deck of the master bedroom was beautiful. There were so many things to do and see in the area. The memories we made with our families will stay with us forever and we would love to come back in the near future. Thank you again, Craig & Linda for sharing your lovely home with us. Beautiful cabin with fantastic views
Overall the experience at the mountain cabin was fantastic. If your looking for beautiful views, this is the cabin for you. We enjoyed the location of the property. The cabin is centrally located to many Colorado activities. We enjoyed driving up Pikes Peak, white water rafting on the Arkansas river, in addition to the many other activities we experienced. The cabin has everything you could ask for. Our favorite part of the day was sitting on the back deck drinking coffee and enjoying the wildlife around the cabin. The cabin was very spacious and luxurious, we definitely would stay here again! Thanks Craig and Linda for opening your home to us!!

Home was originally built in 2005 by professional log home builder then redone by present owner, also a professional builder. No expense was spared. All windows, lighting, heat system, hardware, fixtures and floor coverings are premium quality. Large master bedroom with walk in closet on upper level furnished with custom aspen log bedroom set, queen size memory foam mattress. Master is decorated with American Indian theme. Master balcony on west with amazing sunsets. Matching authentic moose antler lamps on log nightstands. Master bedroom has flat screen TV, sitting area outside master in loft area, overlooks living dining area. Master bath with oversized tub and shower. Heated floors through entire home. Main level open concept with large dining table that seats entire family. Adjoining living area with new HD TV and fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen open to dining. Double sliding doors open out to deck which wraps around to covered porch. There are two more bedrooms on main level, one with its own patio door to exterior. This room has queen log bed. Other bedroom on main level has a full size and a twin. This is the little bear room. Full bath between these rooms. Downstairs living area with HD TV and full size pool table. This is called the Wolf room. Walkout doors on lower level to exterior. There is full bath with walk in tile shower. Large bedroom in lower level with queen size custom log bedroom set with memory foam mattress. This is the Bear room. Additional refrigerator in basement. Wi-Fi and unlimited VOIP phone.
