The Big Thompson Pool Cabin is not only a location to visit, but an experience. I was lucky enough to visit here with family during the early autumn. The natural landscape is certainly a major attraction, with its robust mountain sides and full foliage. The amenities of this cabin enhances one's experience of this surrounding wilderness, such as the outdoor pool, spa, and sauna room overlooking the Big Thompson River. One can even fall asleep listening to the constant, soothing rushing of this river flowing a few yards away. Televisions, Wifi, and a wireless stereo system are provided for one's enjoyment, along with such timeless delights as a billiard table, a guitar, and an eclectic collection of books. Bathing in the stone shower in the lower level is an experience that matches that of any professional spa resort. This is a true retreat for travelers desiring an unforgettable experience in the midst of northern Colorado's natural landscape.

Can't wait to come back
I just LOVE this cabin. What a relaxing and beautiful pace to get away to. This was a much needed vacation and I feel completely rejuvenated. Being able to enjoy a heated pool and hot tub in the middle of all this natural beauty is a priceless experience. I really did love this house and all its amenities. It was very clean and had everything I needed including kitchen items for cooking. Plus, there were these awesome mountain goats that came by. So cool! Everything was beautiful, the views are majestic. I can hardly believe this places even exists out here and I can't wait to come back!!!

Picturesque views with endless luxury amenities!
We arrived to the perfect picture of fall. Driving up the,all the leaves are changing,the river was rushing and the large cabin was just nestled perfectly in the canyon. It couldn't have been more beautiful. I came here for an Autumn visit and couldn't have been more pleased.Owners provided, PLENTY of wood for cozy cracking fires. They have a heated pool that we swam in under the stars,a massive hot tub and beautiful wood sauna that is built directly into the canyon side with panoramic views. They provide delicious coffee , and I love taking a steaming cup outside in the morning while watching the rushing river. Great way to start the day. There is so much to do in the area,but I honestly never wanted to leave. This is not a place to just sleep at night,this is an all out experience. Every normal activity turns into something special. Taking a shower in their massive walk in shower built around the actual canyon stones is WILD. It's like a subterranean luxury spa from another planet. The entire house,even the patio is connected with a booming Sonos system which is great when swimming or soaking outside. The beds are even more comfortable than home! We were even able to listen to records in our room. Pool table downstairs, and horse shoes in the picnic area outside too! Such a gem,will definitely be back

Great time at Big Thompson Pool Cabin
My family and I had a great time at the Pool Cabin. The weather wasn't that great, but because of the wonderful amenities at the cabin we were able to have a fun and relaxing time. Sat in the pool and hot tub during the rain and chilly evenings and soaked up the warmth of the water. House was very accommodating to a large family. Would recommend to anyone going to Estes Park, CO!!

The living room will also convert into a bedroom with private solid wood doors that close off of the dinning room. Queen Size Sofa Bed in living room with 2 extra memory mattresses for comfort. Large Flat Screen TVs in every room. Have your own bedroom with fireplace for your 5th bedroom. This is a one of a kind cabin. There is no other property like this!
