Cozy cabin tucked away in the mountains.
We loved the cabin-- it was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. It was a great home base for fall hiking in the San Juan mountains.

Beautiful location...a home away from home!
Without a doubt, we will stay here again! The cabin offered a quiet, peaceful, remote location with all the amenities of home! The location of the cabin between Durango and Silverton made options for hiking and ATV rentals to see the amazing sites of the Rockies numerous and perfect! It was difficult to leave such a beautiful place!

One of our most peaceful and secluded homes is the delightful Deer Ridge Cabin. Nestled in the forest this home has views of Columbine Lake through the trees and is located just 1 mile from Purgatory/Durango Mountain Resort.
This cabin is stocked with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, washer and dryer, gas grill, and cable tv, making it the perfect home away from home. In winter you can cozy up to a fire in the wood stove and gaze through the large front window at the falling snow. On the main entrance floor you will find the living room with Queen sofa sleeper, kitchen and dining area, plus a full bath. The upstairs lofted bedroom features a Queen bed plus a Full and a Twin Foldaway, and there is also a TV.
4 Wheel Drive is Required in Winter - No exceptions.
