Perfect big mountain house!
This house was perfect for our 3 families! Gorgeous Windows on every wall in the kitchen/great room made for a perfect view of the snow & mountains. Eating area was perfect for our large group & the garage was super convenient for snow gear. We used the hot tub every evening & the laundry room was perfect for drying our wet/snowy clothes. Great bathroom access for all the bedrooms, and plenty of separate living space for all ages in our group. A convenient 1 mile drive to Purgatory ski resort, and right across from a great restaurant. Perfect house - we would definitely rent this property again!

Thanksgiving in the mountains
Our family that included 11 people, with 3 children enjoyed cooking Thanksgiving dinner, playing cards,building snowmen, sledding and skiing. The house was clean and tidy. My only want would have been a nice t.v. and shades for the basement.

Beaver Pond Lodge
We were amazed by the amenities of the house. This is a 4 bedroom with 2 full living areas and a game room with bunk beds. The view from the house in all directions was breathtaking. We could see snow in little valleys on the tops of the mountains out the front windows. Pricing was very reasonable for such a large house.

Welcome to the Beaver Pond Lodge. This stunning mountain cabin has everything you are looking for. Beautiful views of the pond and a private hot tub make this the perfect place for your next getaway. This home is conveniently located just 1 mile from Durango Mountain Ski Resort, in a quiet and relaxing setting. You can enjoy all the resort has to offer and still feel nestled in the peaceful beauty of the outdoors. The main floor has an open living and dining area to the kitchen, which is a cook's dream with new appliances and plenty of space. The cozy living room has large picture windows great for curling up by the fire and enjoying the view. One of the couches is also a sofa sleeper for additional sleeping options. There is dining for 8, as well as bar seating for 4. Also located on the main floor is the master suite, complete with king bed, lovely views and its own private bath. Another bedroom with queen bed is on this floor, as well as a full bath. Upstairs in the loft is a large flat panel tv and couches for getting comfortable and watching a movie. Two more bedrooms are found on this floor, each with a queen bed and a shared bath. There is another sofa sleeper here in the loft for even more sleeping options. The large basement bonus room has a twin bunk and plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. Located on the back deck is a private hot tub perfect for relaxing after a long day of mountain activities. You can also sit in one of the many Adirondack chairs out front and enjoy the beautiful pond. You might even see a beaver working on his home! No matter what season you decide to come to Durango, we are sure you will enjoy your time at the Beaver Pond Lodge.
