great getaway cabin in the mountains
I want to give Michele the property agent kudos for doing a awesome job of recommending this cabin to us. she is quick to answer any questions I had, she is great! I highly recommend using cabin get away!! the cabin is this like the pictures show on the vrbo site. the décor is awesome in every room of the cabin . very well stocked with all your needs in the kitchen. the cabin is has very good amenities with the satellite tv's washer dyer , all up to date appliances, . the bed room sets are all very nice and comfortable beds. the living room and family room furniture is very nice and comfortable. why stay inside with the views of all the mountains around you while you kick back and relax on the big back deck with great patio furniture. the gas grill was great to have and use. it has a very nice front porch you can kick back on also. we seen a deer with her little fawn they were beautiful out back of the cabin. Michele gave great directions to get there to the cabin .It is close to cripple creek (2-3) miles this is a great cabin if you have a big family or meeting family for a vacation in the mountains away from the big city. I highy recommend this cabin.

Great cabin, we loved it
First of, Michelle is great. She is responsive and answered all my inquiries very quickly. The cabin is great. We stayed for 2 nights, two families with kids and we loved it. It is relatively remoted from town, yet less than 15 minutes to get there if you need something. Everything was clean, organized and well taken care of. The kitchen has most of the tools you can think about, and the best part was the grill and porch. Minor issues: The bath on the main floor is an old Victorian style bath. Although it is very impressive and romantic, it is less useful with kids and families. That's it. Again, thanks a lot.

Great Family Weekend
We stayed here with our 2 sons and their girfriends for the weekend in March. The cabin was very nice, and maintained well...very deserving of the 5-star rating. Michele, the manager, was also very friendly and helpful, especially appreciated since we booked only a week in advance. Would stay here again.

Successful Milestone Birthday Getaway
Definitely a treasure! We planned a mountain sledding adventure 17th Birthday for my daughter. Well, there was not a spot of snow, but it was not hard to put together a last minute plan B. Cozy, but large home. Very comfortable. A Lot of room for different activities indoor and out. We set up volleyball in front of home & archery range in back. Had a few deer visit in the mornings & birds all day long. Only negative was the winter temperature for the home...I kept a sweater on, but no one else had an issue except me. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck. Home is exceptionally furnished. Plan out grocery shopping during day hours, very friendly store & fresh produce. Doing this survey because I saw it planning our next trip!

Colorado Getaway
We were looking for a great Colorado getaway with a cabin feel. This is it! We absolutely loved the views and the homey feel of the cabin. We were wanting to get our son who is a freshman in college a chance to get away from school. This was a perfect place to "chillax" from the busy schedules that we all have. Chirstmas
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your cabin. We took a vote this year and decided we wanted to do something diffrent for Christmas this year. We wanted to truly have a "White Christmas" during our research we came across your cabin. You were truly helpful in answering any and all our questions and i thank you for that. The long drive was worth it!! The views are amazing, the cabin was beautiful and cozy. The children had a blast playing in the snow. We traveled from Montgomer, TX for the 2nd year in a row in the second cabin and it was wonderful. We loved the snow and beautiful views. We will definitely be back.

Colorado vacation
The cabin was great, very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Enjoyed the grill on the back deck and picnicing there was able to see a deer and her fawn. Enjoyed our excursions on the Royal Gorge railroad. We also rafted the big horn canyon, and went zip lining. We enjoyed all sitting on the back deck a couple of evenings until we got to cold. This beautiful larger log cabin, with deck on the front and back of cabin. Slate floor entrance and wood floors in all the rooms. This 2,000 sq. feet cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one bathroom on main floor has a claw feet tub. On the main level is the master bedroom with king size bed, second bedroom on this level has 2 twin beds, the bathroom is with the claw tub/shower. Living room with cable T.V and queen size sleeper sofa. The lower level has a queen size bedroom with the secound bathroom off the hall. This level has a second family room with T.V and a second dinning area, there is a play house under stairs for the kids. There is a twin pull out sofa on this level. Relax on the back deckwith a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful sunset and all the wildlife.
I DON'T USE THE CALENDAR DUE TO SAFETY REASONS. YOU WILL HAVE TO CALL ME OR EMAIL ME FOR OPEN DATES. I HAVE 12 CABINS IN THIS AREA.
About The Area
Hiking, Fishing, and the town of Cripple Creek is an old mining town, still operating to this day. Cripple Creek is 5 miles from this cabin and has casinos a nice park and play area for the kids.
House Rules
If you have moved furniture, please put the cabin back the way it was when you had arrived. Please clean up outside. Please clean the B.Q after each use why still hot. NO outside fire pits.
Suitability
Part of the roads are dirt, maintained by the city. Winter 4 wheel drive suggested.
