Amazing!!

Michele is great! Love, love the cabin. We have stayed there a few time. Our best friend passed away August 4th of last year and this cabin was one of his favorite places. We went and took him on his last ride to independence pass and stayed at the cabin. It is a very special place. Beautiful place, very homey and comfortable. We plan on trying to do a trip up there every year.

Absolutely Breathtaking!!!

My mom and I recently stayed here for 4 nights. The cabin is very cool and has everything you could need. The location is absolutely amazing, end of a dirt road, on top of a mountain, with breathtaking views. Downtown Cripple Creek is only about 15-20 minutes away, with a very nice little grocery store. The wild life was awesome!!! Deer walk right by the cabin, one even came right through the driveway, less than 20 feet from the front door. I saw either a grey or silver fox the first night there. If you stay here, I very strongly suggest you set aside a couple of hours to take a drive down Shelf Road!!! There's so much more to say about how great this place was, but to sum it all up, just know this place is awesome and I hope to revisit it every summer from now on.

Very Peaceful

Had an absolute wonderful time at this cabin - first time there and will definitely return. Very quiet and secluded and at the end of a dirt road. Well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans. The shower is wonderful with great water pressure and lots of hot water. There are a lot of DVDs and VCR movies! The loft is huge and warm with great views. Really enjoyed our short time here.

Family getaway

We had a wonderful get away to the cabin. It had everything we needed with breath taking views. It was in a great location for exploring all that Colorado has to offer.

Our escape from the world...it is perfect

This is our second time to this cabin, our third time visiting one of the owners cabins. We love it every single time. We feel so at home, there is so much that we don't have to worry about because it is all taken care of for us. The views are beautiful, the house is well taken care of, and the memories made are absolutely priceless. Our vacations are spent escaping from the world and spending time with our family so we don't go into town, but we do enjoy walking around the grounds and cuddling up by the fire and sitting out on the deck. We were sad we didn't see any wildlife this time around, but maybe next time. As the kids are getting older, the short stays just aren't enough....next time we will be back for an extra day. Thanks so much to the owner for being so hospitable.

Texas Travelers

This our 5th visit to this beautiful cabin and will return. Our visits in the snow during our winter are beyond belief with the snow and the wildlife. The cabin is at the end of the road and we have enjoyed every trip to Colorado. The cabin has been updated with new beds, new wood floors and a remodeled bath room. We will be back soon.

We loved it!!!

We had a great time staying here. One morning we sat out on the back porch watching deer, enjoying the scenery, and teaching my girls to play mancala!!! We made such good memories. The cabin was beautiful and in a very private secluded area. The owner was great to work with too! We would go back in a heartbeat!!!!

The place where Peace lives

OMG!!! Was all myself and our family could say when we arrived!! We stayed during Christmas and Michele had the cabin decorated complete with a christmas tree and stockings!! The kids loved it!! The cabin was so well equipped, that all we really needed was food!! Great library of movies to watch, and plenty of board games. But we spent most of our time hiking and taking in the beautiful view. From here you feel like your away from it all, and the night sky, is to die for. Thank you Michele your cabin has helped start a new yearly family tradition, we will be back.

Our Favorite Getaway

We have actually been to this cabin multiple times, and as crazy as it sounds it just keeps getting better every single time. It is obvious that the owners put a lot of love and care into this cabin and they keep it updated and stocked well with movies and games and it is always clean.

There is enough room to sleep up to about 10 people comfortably in beds. The cabin is spacious and airy and has beautiful views. It is rustic enough to feel like a cabin getaway but is also up to date enough that you aren't missing the luxuries of home. The deck is large and offers beautiful views (and glimpses of wildlife!), and the cabin is located close to plenty of family-friendly attractions.

The owners are friendly, respond to inquiries and questions quickly, and are available in case you need anything.

This is such an amazing place, you will definitely enjoy your stay here and leave feeling refreshed!
