Perfect For Us
The cabin is nice, well stocked with all the essentials, and located in a beautiful area. We were snowed in on the day we were supposed to leave Michele was extremely accommodating, we are hoping to go back this summer and explore the area. Great property
We stayed a weekend in the cabin with my two kids and sister. There was plenty of space and yet very cozy. The cabin was in an awesome setting. We loved the rock outcroppings and all the trees surrounding the cabin. If it hadn't been so cold I would have spent more time on the porch! To my surprise, the driveway to the house had been plowed so getting up there was much easier than I thought it would be. And the house was warm! I have stayed at B&B's that did not have the heat turned on prior to our arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was really nice. We especially liked the door. The loft was cute and spacious. The main bedroom was roomy. My only recommendation for the cabin is that the bed in the bedroom be upgraded along with the pillows. It was the only thing I was not looking forward to during my stay there. But everything else was just right!

Just what we wanted
This cabin is just as described, and even better. It has everything you could possibly need. It is stocked with movies, games and music. The kitchen is also fully stocked with all the necessities. We really enjoyed sitting on the large deck enjoying the nice weather and wildlife. The location is great. We were close to many activities such as white water rafting and hiking. We did not do much in Cripple Creek, but would highly recommend the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine. The drive to Colorado Springs was about an hour, and we did a lot of activities there. I just wish we had more time. I cannot say enough nice things about Michele. When we had trouble with the internet half way through our stay, she was very helpful and we were able to get up and running quickly. My six year old son said he wants to come back every year - I agree.

Many updates have been made.
My husband and I have visited this rental five times in about the last 7 years and we still love it. Congratulations Michelle and hubby for the big improvements over these years. The bathroom is really cute with the barn door and the new vanity, sink and toilet. We also noticed the new front door which is really nice along with kitchen counter and sink. When we first came to the rental years back there was no TV programming but now you have sattelite and even though we don't watch much TV it's nice to have for news and rainy days. Again thanks for all of the upgrades that you have made over the years. It just makes us want to come back more often.

Great Cabin - Loved This Place!!
What a great, affordable cabin. The location was great for excursions into Cripple Creek (really enjoyed the play at the Butte Theater; highly recommend) Everything else we wanted to do was within a 45 minute drive (Manitou Springs, Pikes Peak, Woodland Park). The cabin itself was very clean and well kept. Our dogs loved going outside and watching the prairie dogs. The wireless internet was a definite plus for my son who loves to spend non-excursion time watching youtube. Definitely, a great place that we will be going back to!!

Vacation
Awesome views. Cabin was excellent. We enjoyed the vacation, not to close to a highway and just right outside of town. First family vacation we had together in at least 5 years and it was well spent here. The wood burning stove made it very toasty in here. Thanks again. Austin, Tx

Work Vacation
I am one of the actors working with the air theater co. From LA. Thank you for a stocked, clean, and quality place to call home while we reeves to perform. I love this place so much I tried to find a way to rent it for friends when they come to town to see the show. My favorite part? The VHS player. I encourage everyone who stays to enjoy the throw back of a video tapes.

Great Cabin
The cabin had beautiful views all the way around. The interior was nicer than it appears in the photos. The outside could use a paint job, but did not distract from the wonderful setting. We had a transformer blow across the street on our first night, so we lost power. We called the owner and she had the power company out there to fix it right away. We would definitely stay again.

Secluded pleasant cabin
We stayed here June 28 - July 4 2018. cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with everything you would need for time away from home. There were VCR movies for kids, DVD movies and WIFI worked very well. We had fantastic views and quite walks. Wildlife is abundant, we didn't see bears or mountain lions but plenty of deer right in front yard. Awesome!! Michelle was very nice and called to inform us of the fire that was in the vicinity. We never was affected by fire. Family had a terrific time!!

Escaping the Heat of Phoenix
We spent the entire month of August here. You won't find more perfect summer weather than in the Cripple Creek area. We really enjoyed the DirecTV and fast internet features of the home. Very quiet, peaceful location. We return each summer to Cripple Creek and plan to continue doing so next year and beyond.
