Wonderful home!
This is our second time staying at this beautiful home. It is even nicer than the description and pictures. The home is lovely, immaculate and well stocked. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and have thought of everything a renter might want or need during their stay. We loved evenings in front of the fireplace as well as time spent on the deck listening to the babbling brook and seeing all the wildlife. We are looking forward to the next time we get back to Colorado! Thank you again to Jack and Linda for the incredible time.

Outstanding
We have stayed in many VRBO rentals in the US and other countries. Few of the rentals receive a 5 out of 5 rating like this home did. The photos on VRBO do not convey the beauty and serenity of the home and property, or the attention to details that added to our comfort and enjoyment. We arrived at the property late in the evening and there was a fresh floral bouquet, and snack/drinks in a gift basket to tide us over until we could get to the grocery store. When we did go to the grocery we didn’t have to buy all of the usual disposables such as laundry/bath/dish soaps, paper towels and toilet paper because they were all provided! (The bathrooms were even stocked with cotton swabs, cotton balls, and a magnifying mirror.) One of our 2 concerns prior to staying in this home was that this was not a free standing house, so we were concerned about noise and neighbors. However we did not see any neighbors or hear any voices or noises other than the gurgling of the mountain stream behind the house, and our kids calling to look out the window at different sights, mainly animals. There was abundant natural light in the house so between the quiet and the incredible views of hills, trees, and mountain rocks it felt like a rural setting (with city amenities nearby.) The only other concern is one we have for any rental we are considering: the kitchen. Since we cook most of our meals we want to make sure the kitchen has the essentials necessary to prepare and serve meals. This kitchen was incredible; it had all the equipment, appliances, cookware, cutlery, and gadgets that we could want. This home- the house, the interior, the environment- was all around perfect. However it was the the owners, Jack and Linda, who really added the special touch. Their old fashioned hospitality and genuine caring is what will bring us back. We highly recommend this rental.

Exceptional Experience
Our family throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home rental. The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. We were all very comfortable and could have fit more in the house if we needed. I highly recommend this rental. Linda and Jack were very helpful and so sweet. The zoo is literally 3 minutes away. There are hiking trails just outside the door. The scenery is so beautiful, it was amazing. We all had a wonderful time. My son loved the workout room too! Go enjoy!

An 11!!... on a scale of 1-10!
This was the best experience we have had with a VRBO home rental! The home is comfortable, and beautifully decorated with amazing artwork throughout. The layout of the home was really comfortable with 2 master suites, one upstairs and one downstairs. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable and there is also a workout room. There was not one thing that we did not have, from a complete kitchen with everything a cook would need to comfortable outdoor patio furniture. We barbecued on the deck every single night on a commercial grade propane barbecue. The view off the deck is spectacular! The first night, from the deck we saw a black bear making his way right down the creek. The creek was running and was just beautiful to sit out on the deck and listen to with a glass of wine. The unexpected was the graciousness of the hosts, Jack and Linda Mason. They were incredibly gracious and wanted to make sure we were comfortable in their home, even checking to make sure there was shampoo and cream rinse in the bathroom. :) The neighborhood is a gated community and is immaculate and beautiful to take walks around. We were there for the USA Shooting Nationals and had our son and his friend with us. The boys had the 2 bedrooms downstairs and utilized the office area to do homework. We entertained friends one evening and had a sit down dinner party for 10 and had all the necessary details. Cloth napkins, napkin rings, wine glasses, serving ware and even a red wine decanter. We will be back as it was the best 7 days away we have ever spent on a vacation! We went to Royal Gorge, Pikes Peak on the Cog train, Manitou Springs, hiked the Helen Falls, and toured the Olympic Training Center. A perfect vacation! Thank you Jack for your incredible kindness and making our stay so very enjoyable!
