THE SPACE:
This well appointed, spacious and clean studio rental is an attached unit to a main house but locked off with separate entrance. It has a large TV with remote control, ceiling fan, queen size bed, and a sofa that pulls out into a bed, dresser, small work desk, bistro style table with seating for 2, walk in closet and large master bath with dual sink, shower and enclosed water closet. There is also an under the counter refrigerator, mini-microwave, Keurig 2.0, a hot plate and small sink/counter space to rinse out light dishes. Dishes and cutlery available so you can have your own snacks in the unit: ie sandwiches, cereal, soups, microwaveable food, etc. Also, propane bbq grill just outside your room. Sorry there is no stovetop or oven (hence "Kitchenette" in the title"). We provide Coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, honey, Quaker instant oatmeal, Nature Valley snack bars and a couple bottles of water to hold you over until you get to the store where you can purchase what you prefer. SMOKING OUTSIDE ONLY.
GUEST ACCESS:
*The studio unit has it's own private entrance from the street. You will park your car in front of the house, off the street, walk up a well lit short walkway to the side yard gate. You will enter the patio and arrive at your entrance to the studio. You will be provided with a 4 digit code to unlock the door. No need to worry about lock boxes and digging for keys in the bottom of your purse or pockets.
*The patio is shared with the main house tenants. Use of the open patio includes table/chairs, BBQ, and fire pit. Also additional seating and outdoor TV under covered patio is available for you as well. Feel free to sit out and relax with your morning coffee or evening beverage of choice after a long day exploring everything Southern California has to offer. Sit out by the fire pit on a cool evening enjoying the stars and your favorite beverage.
SMOKING OUTSIDE ONLY.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:
We may not ever see you as you have your own private entrance and the studio is closed off from the main house. We might have an opportunity to meet you if we happen to be out on the patio at the same time as you. We are ALWAYS available by phone or text and are more than happy to visit in person if we are home and you would like to meet. We don't want to intrude on your space and will respect your privacy.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
*Please note: There is 1 small dog and a cat that live on the property. You will most likely never even see them. The cat comes and goes as she pleases and likes to hang out on the patio in warmer weather. She may or may not take off if you are out there. She is very sweet.
*Trash day is Wednesday and the first truck comes around 7 or 8 am. The room is on the street side so you WILL hear the garbage truck if you are here on trash day.
*Gardeners come on Monday various times but could be as early as 8:30am and the mower can be heard.
Getting around:
There is a bus stop at the end of the street but we are in a small town central to all of all the major attractions you might like to visit, so your own personal car or rental is recommended.
Uber is an option as well and has become a lot more consistent in availability in recent years. I am an Uber driver myself and if you need an uber driver feel free to contact me. "IF" I am available I will log onto UBER if not already logged on. Talk to me for details if this is something you are interested in.
We are actually located in Wildomar, CA BUT we are such a small little community right next to Murrieta, it doesn't even show up as on option on TRIPZ.com. Please be sure to look at the map and inquire about our area if you have any questions. Most of our guests come to visit Temecula Wine Country. We are just down the freeway a few miles and our guests take an Uber to the wineries.
We are located in a small bedroom community with the essentials nearby (gas stations, grocery stores, retail shopping, dining) but we are not "in the city". The neighborhood is quiet and a mix of older and newer homes on 1/2 acre or larger lots. This house was built in 2008.
Great location to visit multiple sites in southern California. Go to San Diego one day. Disney Land and Orange County another day. Hit the slopes in Big Bear the following day. Stay a little closer and explore more local activities such as Temecula Valley Wine Country, take a hot air ballon ride, go antiquing in Old Town Temecula, go out to Pechange Casino for a little gambling, dining and entertainment, or stroll through Old Town Lake Elsinore. If you like to skydive or are interested in trying it for the first time drive 5 minutes to Skydive Elsinore. We also have Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park for those into Motocross as well as Lake Elsinore Storm Stadium for baseball and other events throughout the year.
