Wonderful Property
This vacation rental was perfect for our 3-generation stay. The grandparents had the downstairs master, and the young ones were all upstairs. The house is huge and each of the five bedrooms has it's own outdoor area (balcony or patio). The kitchen area was also very large, and huge side-by-side frig to feed everyone. Used all appliances as well as the outdoor grill. Lots of seating areas. Property manager was very helpful with instructions and very reachable via text.

Close to EVERYTHING you Need
Helen was awesome! Super attentive and available via text for any questions. This house is perfect for large groups. We used it for our annual work retreat. I had to pick up a few folks from LAX which is a quick 15 minute drive from the house (w/o having to get on the freeway). We cooked meals together in the large kitchen, were able to walk to the Whole Foods and the CVS for things we forgot (less than 1 block away) and even make a short trek (about 15 minute walk) to the beach for a picnic lunch. The house is equipped with everything you could need (plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, coffee maker, Netflix on the living room TV, fast WIFI, 3 full baths to accommodate everyone). We loved the funky tiki touches throughout the house and the interestingly designed kitchen. The best was the open floor plan so that we could talk and visit with one another, but have plenty of space to spread out. Thank you for a lovely stay for our work retreat in Santa Monica!

Spacious bright 5 bedroom, Mid Century house in Venice, on a quiet residential street. The beach, restaurants, shopping on Abbot Kinney, and Rose Ave, sun, palm trees!
5 parking spaces in back. One block from Whole Foods. 2 miles from Santa Monica. The house is large, bright and great for family reunions! There are 5 parking spaces behind the house, which is very rare in Venice, and parking on the street in front as well. You will have access to the whole house, the front and back yards, and the 5 parking spaces behind the house.
There's a back patio, with bbq, and three of the upstairs rooms have their own spacious balconies. The huge living room has a convenient gas fireplace, and the smart TV comes with Netflix. The kitchen was designed by George Nelson, a well known mid century designer. There is a comfortable office, with two desk spaces. There is an open admission golf course at the end of the street, and a playground and tennis courts a block away.
There are also FIVE parking spots behind the house, which is unheard of in Venice! There's a water feature, a small stream that runs down the side of the house ad makes a lovely sound. Thee are 5 bedrooms, 2 with kings sized bed, 3 with queen sized beds, and a single bed that converts from a couch, and 3 bathrooms, a huge living room and a kitchen with stove refrigerator, toaster oven rice cooker, microwave, regular oven. There's a washer and a dryer as well. There's a very comfortable outdoor patio with a sectionall seating and a table for 8, a smaller bar table and a BBQ.
At the end of the street, walking distance is a large supermakerket - Whole Foods, a dollar store and a pharmacy.
Venice is full of great restaurants, shops, and the beach, of course. There are so many great places to eat that it would be hard to recommend any one. There are seven or eight restaurants, and three coffee shops within half a mile of the house. Cafe Gratitude has very good vegan food. Also not to be missed is the Venice Boardwalk. It has some of the best, most interesting people watching anywhere!
Santa Monica Pier is only 2 miles away, and is easy to get to on a bike. There are also many buses that go up Lincoln Blvd, to Santa Monica.
