The actual apt is located in the middle of the property, off street. The neighbors are very friendly, young families mixed with "old salts" who have been mainstays of the neighborhood for decades.
The building is on a cul de sac at the top of a garden stairway. The neighborhood association takes very good care and provides its own security.
The whole apartment has heavy curtains for late sleepers. The futon couch folds out to a very comfortable bed with a memory foam mattress topper. The lounge chair also folds down to make a 3rd bed option.
The dining room table seats 6 and the outdoor patio area seats 4. There is a very efficient lovely kitchen and a BBQ on the porch. The bathroom is small but fully functional.
The location could not be better for San Francisco. North Beach is full of wonderful cafes and restaurants. It's a 15-minute walk to the financial district and a 5-minute walk to Coit Tower. It's a 10-minute bus ride or a 20-minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf, and the same to Union Square. Chinatown is just 3 blocks away.
All bedding and towels provided for every person / bed and then some. The apartment downstairs has a brand new LG washer and dryer that are accessible from this apartment.
We have Directv enhanced packages (HBO, etc.). We can upgrade the package for you at your request should you want a sports package like Sunday Ticket or something similar (you pay the difference).
