House Sleeps6Bedrooms2Bathrooms2Minimum Stay2 nightsThe house is a fully detached house/cottage that is 5 blocks from Ocean Beach, 4 blocks from Muni, across the street from the Haight-Ashbury bus line, and 7 blocks from Golden Gate Park. It is one of the only fully detached houses in the Outer Sunset where most houses are row-style and attached one after the other. It has a very small backyard space which is fenced in. There is no air condition in San Francisco as the temperature is almost always cool at night but all you have to do is open the living room window and both bedroom windows and you will feel the air move through the house and at night sometimes hear the ocean even 5 blocks away.
The house comes with parking and can hold up to 6 people if needed. There are 2 very comfortable queen size beds with 4-6 pillows per bed that are sure to suit anyone's style of rest. There is a comfortable full size queen blow up mattress that will fit perfect next to the sofa in the living room with nice linens and duvet/comforter to accompany. The sofa is also super comfy and great for lounging and watching TV. It is a great place to sleep also.
Laundry facilities are on site but only available upon request and must be requested during the reservation as the garage is kept secured during guests stays.
The house has a keyless entry system and will utilize a code that will be activated 15 minutes before check- in and will deactivate 15 min after check out.
Please take off all shoes when you enter the house and place on shoe rack immediately upon entering the house. If you go to the beach, please shake off all sand prior to entering the house as it dulls the wooden floors if tracked in.
The space is perfect for different types of occasions but can only accompany 6 (possibly 7 ) people comfortably if you include the sofa. There are 2 remodeled bathrooms in the house with both shower and bathtubs in both. There is an assortment of nice shampoos, body wash, and body scrubs also. I often keep an assortment of toiletries in each bathroom in case people forget something.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook including spices and nice pots/pans. There is a coffee maker which comes with an assortment of coffee, non-dairy creamers, sugar, and Splenda and also tea for hot tea.
I keep an assortment of cereals and oatmeals for breakfast in the cabinet above the right of the stove for guests . That is where all the coffee condiments are also kept-coffee also in that cabinet and in the bottom left portion of the refrigerator which is the freezer section. I know that sometimes you are in a crunch and may need something in one of my cabinets. If I have it, you are welcome to it. Please just don't eat everything I have:). I keep an open kitchen policy but just be mindful. Also- please don't use any food in my freezer. If you open up the refrigerator and there is a bottle of wine, it is for you as I don't drink but often leave a bottle for my guests.
I LOVE hosting and enjoy making people happy. All I ask is that you treat my house with respect and please don't move furniture as that often is the reason my floors get scratched. The neighborhood is very safe but still make sure to lock all cars and please ensure you fully shut the front door when leaving.
The keyless entry system will be cleared by pushing the * key first- then place your code given to you followed by the # button. You will then hear a slight click and all you do is push the door open.
The entire house has laundry facilities in the garage. When the house is rented fully it comes with one parking space. If you need laundry facilities, you must request it when you make the reservation as I have to put into place a few things when they are requested. They are available by all means if needed.
I can speak with guests as often as needed. I typically will respond quickly and within at least 15 minutes. If for whatever reason I do not, you can call me on my cell that is provided on the reservation. I typically like to keep all communication on the Airbnb messaging platform so please always text me there first and then call me if for whatever reason I do not respond. I will make every effort to meet you at my house to take you through it so you know where everything is and you are fully comfortable with the lay-out so you have everything needed to ensure a great stay but often times this is not possible as I am traveling or not able to meet at the time requested for arrival. This is one of the reasons for the keyless entry system. It allows guests to arrive at their leisure with no worries.
There is a guest book that has everything you need to know about every neighborhood in San Francisco and is located on the coffee table when you enter the house. There are lots of attraction pamphlets and site seeing information in the book as well. If you are out touring and can grab extra pamphlets and bring them back it would be greatly appreciated:). It is a fun way of paying it forward for future guests as well:)!
