The Neighborhood
The home is located at the border of Daly City and San Francisco, very close to BART (subway) station and bus stations, that give you easy access to anywhere in San Francisco and peninsula (San Mateo County). This home is perfect for tourists, business travelers and families.
How to get here:
From San Francisco International Airport (SFO):
1. Take subway (BART) from SFO to Daly City BART Station - 15 mins;
2. Walk from Daly City BART Station to my house - 6 mins.
From Downtown San Francisco:
1. Take BART from any subway station to Daly City BART Station;
2. Walk from Daly City BART Station to my house - 6 mins.
Getting Around
Daly City BART (subway) Station
- It is a block away which takes you to Downtown San Francisco in 20 minutes.
Local Buses (Route 14, 28, etc.)
- They are nearby and can take you directly to Downtown SF, Golden Gate Park and Stonestown Shopping Mall.
Car Rental information:
1. Enterprise Rent-A-Car
- Address: 6770 Mission Street, Daly City, CA 94014, United States.
- Walking distance: 0.6 Mile, 13 mins walk
2. Hertz Rent A Car

Other Things to Note
1. Early check-in available, i.e. you can enter the house and drop off luggage, and have access to public area such as living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. However, access to your own room is no earlier than 3pm.
2. No in-house laundry available, but there are laundromats close to the house that you can do your laundry at affordable price.
3. Actual linen, decor and bed arrangement may vary from the pictures shown in the listing.
PARKING:
1. Driveway Parking:
Our driveway can park up to two cars if parked facing the house. Driveway parking spot MUST BE RESERVED in advance with the host on a first-come, first-served basis. Please position your car to the rightmost area of the driveway if you are the first one, then continue parking towards the left. Do not block our neighbor’s driveway.
2. Street Parking:
Free street parking near the house is available, but please pay attention to the following rules:
(i) No parking every Monday - Friday 7 AM - 10 AM
(ii) No parking every Thursday 9 AM - 11 AM (combining with rule (i), it means no parking every Thursday 7 AM - 11 AM)
(iii) Street parking is free during weekend.
3. Daly City BART Station Parking (alternative way of parking your car with a FEE if you are unable to reserve a parking space at the drive way of our vacation home):
Long term parking: BART provides long term parking for $7/ day if you pay in advance. Follow the steps below:
(i)Go to BART official website
(ii)Pick “Rider Guide” from the main menu, then pick “Parking” from the drop down menu
(iii)Scroll down the page until you see “Airport/Long Term Permit Parking, then click on “Select-a-Spot” hyperlink
(iv)You will be directed to “Select-a-Spot” parking booking page. Click “Select” below “APLT (Airport/Long-Term)
(v)Pick “Daly City Station”, then click “Next” at the bottom of the page
(vi)Then select the dates you plan to park your car at the BART parking lot, then proceed with payments
(vii)Print out the parking permit, put it on the dashboard of your car, and park your car at the Daly City BART parking lot (anywhere is fine, you can park at the reserved parking lot, which is closest to our vacation home!).
Please note the best time to be able to find a parking spot is before 10 AM, or after 3 PM every WEEKDAY, and anytime during the WEEKENDS.
