The view from the dining room and living room is spectacular. The house was clean, the beds very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. This was my daughters wedding week and we were not able to enjoy just relaxing at the house. But, we would love to have some down time there with the family at a later date. One problem and not something that could be fixed. The street is very steep so parking is a challenge.

lovely home with a scenic view....
We enjoyed our stay on Hillstreet. We gathered in every living space in the house but our favorite space was the gorgeous patio overlooking the water. We had a great time with our family here. The floors were creaky and noisy when people were trying to sleep and others were still up. Some rugs may help. We found a few live bugs in the utensil drawers. The bedroom lights/fan were not user friendly. Aside from the minor inconveniences, the VRBO was a delightful place to stay.

Beautiful views
The home was perfect with a short walk to the cliffs. It is a very steep entrance to the home and we had to trip over the curbs and plants upon arrival as access to the driveway was blocked for our first 2 days. This proved difficult when traveling with older women. Overall the home was perfect, but it definitely needed to be mowed as some of the weeds were nearly knee high.

Great location, great views
The home is ideally located and close to so many venues. The ocean views are a big plus. The short walk to the ocean is great. Our family of three adults and two children were very comfortable with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house is in a nice neighborhood and is well supplied with linens and kitchen items. I highly recommend it.

Hardwood floors throughout. Each Bedroom has a queen size bed with ample closet space. Home amenities include full use kitchen, wood burning fireplace, forced air heating, indoor and outdoor dining area in front of three large picture windows enabling a full white water ocean view while enjoying your meal inside or out. Includes charcoal barbecue, front and backyard, with ample parking on the street. Binoculars are provided to enable a view of potential passing whales, boats or perhaps a closeup view of the surfers riding a wave.
In a nut shell this home located in Historic Sunset Cliffs and is close to everything you would want to enjoy and expect to do in San Diego. Gas Lamp Quarter, Little Italy restaurant row, The USS Midway, Beaches, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, surfing, sailing, hiking, golf. It is just minutes from some of the finest restaurants found anywhere, plus all the night life and outdoor activities you would ever expect to experience in beautiful San Diego. All this plus a rock star ocean view while listening to the waves crash against the beautiful shoreline right from the comfort of your vacation home.
