Perfect!

This was our very first time to the beach and staying in Nancy's beautiful home made it such a wonderful experience! It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer was AWESOME! It was fantastic being so close to the beach. No fighting for parking spots! Overall, it was a completely wonderful and stress free vacation for us!

Just perfect!!!

What a beautiful place to stay! We loved everything about it, and in fact, we are considering going back in the future. We visited all the other beaches in San Diego, and Imperial Beach was answering our needs perfectly. We came here to enjoy the beach, and since we could walk to it within 1 minute, it could not have been more perfect. It is a small community, smaller beach, just what we like as a family of 4, with 2 teenagers. We visited all the other beaches, and we were so glad we picked this one! No need to pay and look for a parking, awesome. Plus, the people around there are so kind! People are so friendly, a team of girls were having a soccer practice in the main area and they invited my youngest to join them (she is a soccer player at heart, so she was thrilled). Our girls LOVED the surfing. We rented boards and wetsuits from Surf Hut for the week and they gave us a good deal. The house was soooooo nice! Very comfortable, extremely clean, and it had absolutely everything we needed. Washing machine and towels were appreciated, as well as all the beach supplies. Yoli who was our facilitating lady on location is just a pearl. She is so kind and helpful, we adore her. A lovely lady. There are not many stores or restaurants in the area, but here are some of our highlights: Babycakes: a must if you enjoy a good cupcake, Beachside: lovely place to get frozen yogourt and all the fixins, Seaside candy: my girls fell in love with that candy store (their favorite part was that they could have a try of the treats that they were not shure about). We really enjoyed the mexican food at El Tapatio. Another must is the farmers market on Fridays. What another great opportunity to have a great feel of the community! For more extensive, fun and not to much extravagant shopping, we found that Coronado was the place to go. We had brought our bikes and that was a great idea. We could ride them to Coronado beach to go collect sand dollars in the morning, before the croud would arrive there. If you are looking for a cozy, warm, authentic southern California beach experience without the crouds, Imperial Beach is the place. The house is honestly THE best VRBO we ever tried and this is our third beach holiday in the US using one. Thanks to Yoli and Nancy for everything, we created amazing memories as a family over our stay!

Cutest house in IB

What a great five nights at this charming house. It was clean, well stocked, roomy and steps to the sand. Loved the private patio complete with gas grill and room for our bikes. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Couldn't have picked a better spot to stay and can't wait to return.
