Great location, great space, safe and quiet.
D's place is in the middle of everything you'd want to do in San Diego. Great location, great space, safe and quiet. The neighborhood has lots of people, but you wouldn't know it. D is a thoughtful host who does everything to take care of you. Great stay!

“Casa San Diego” is my fun and colorful 2 bedroom and 1-bath apartment with a balcony, fireplace and backyard in historic and trendy North Park (sleeps up to 8). Just 3 miles from downtown and around the corner from public transport, which can take you San Diego “must-sees” like the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, as well as the sun-drenched beaches that make us famous.
The space
When you come to San Diego, you want a place that is fun!
“Casa San Diego” is my fun and colorful 2 bedroom and 1-bath apartment with a balcony and backyard in historic and trendy North Park. Just 3 miles from downtown and around the corner from public transport, which can take you San Diego “must-sees” like the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, as well as the sun-drenched beaches that make us famous.
This apartment rental is one of 3 that I own/operate within this cheery and updated 100-year-old building. Have some friends coming with you to SD? Rent all 3 apartments to sleep up to 20 guests total. Multiple kitchens and living areas are a bonus for a big group.
Bedrooms include 2 with queen-size beds and one in addition with a twin-over-twin. A fold-out sofa sleeps 2 more for up to 8 guests total - perfect for multi-family trips and couples getaways.
Both queen-size bedrooms let you keep your luggage out of the way, with big closets. But you can pack light: there’s a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement.
Take your morning coffee to the balcony, which has a view of North Park. Gather for a BBQ in the backyard (shared with the other two units) with a BBQ grill, outdoor seating, yard games...even a hammock. Or cook inside: the kitchen is fully equipped and stocked as completely as my own kitchen at home.
This rental was designed to be lively, colorful, and inviting, with its own California flavor. Lots of primary colors and fun patterns in the bedrooms and living area, plus rich hardwood floors and mid-century-inspired design -- like the 6-person dining table with tulip chairs. All of the other furnishings are brand-new, too.
Other goodies at the apartment: Free WiFi throughout, a fireplace and a flat-screen TV with Netflix.
Stay in or head out; eat, drink and play in North Park or downtown in the Gaslamp; relax on the balcony, in front of the fireplace or enjoy the sweeping views. And most importantly - have fun! (And let me know how I can help.)
