Located in North Park all the fun places (Zoo, Gaslamp, Balboa Park and Beaches) are just around the corner and conveniently reachable by public transport.
Downtown (The Gaslamp) with bars/clubs is just 3 miles away or just stay in for a night, cook away in the fully stocked kitchen or enjoy a BBQ with a view on the balcony.
The space
When you come to San Diego, you want a place that’s just as vibrant! “Casa California” is a colorful 3-bedroom, 1-bath apartment with a balcony and backyard in historic and trendy North Park. Just 3 miles from downtown and around the corner from public transport, which can take you San Diego “must-sees” like the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, as well as the sun-drenched beaches that make us famous.
This apartment rental is one of 3 that I own/operate within this cheery and updated 100-year-old building. Have some friends coming with you to SD? Rent all 3 apartment to sleep up to 20 guests total. Multiple kitchens and living areas are a bonus for a big group.
NOTE (just because of some people...): North Park is a residential neighborhood and is not a place for big loud parties. Small gatherings with family and friends are totally fine and this is just the place for it; just please let me know in advance if you plan to invite guests who are not included in your reservation and turn the volume down after 10pm. Our friends, who live next door, will let me know if there is a big party going on!
Bedrooms include 2 with queen-size beds and one with a twin-over-queen bunk bed. A fold-out sofa sleeps 2 more for 7 or 8 guests total - perfect for multi-family trips and couples getaways.
Both queen-size bedrooms let you keep your luggage out of the way, thanks to big walk-in closets. But you can pack light: there’s a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement.
Take your morning coffee to the balcony, which has an unobstructed view of North Park. Gather for a BBQ on the balcony or cook inside: the kitchen is fully equipped and stocked as completely as my own kitchen at home.
Yep, that’s a disco ball you see in the living area! This rental was designed to be lively, colorful, and inviting, with its own retro-California flavor. Lots of primary colors and fun patterns in the bedrooms and living area, plus rich hardwood floors and mid-century-inspired design -- like the 8-person dining table with tulip chairs. All of the other furnishings are brand-new, too.
Other goodies at the apartment: Free WiFi throughout, air-conditioning, and a flat-screen TV with Netflix.
Stay in or head out; eat, drink and play in North Park, Hillcrest or downtown in the Gaslamp; relax on the balcony and enjoy the sweeping views. And most importantly - have fun! (And let me know how I can help.)
