Great Space for a Staff Retreat
The Save Haven house was perfect for a student leader retreat we had in early September. The place was more than enough space and we thoroughly enjoyed the grounds. The owners were very responsive and courteous. Would book again!

Our group had a great time here!
The house is clean, plenty of bathrooms for a big group and the first floor has a big space with a big projector that we were able to use for our powerpoint presentations and for movies. Plenty of fun activities outside like wall climbing, swimming, volleyball, hiking, boating and fire pits for a safe place to have a bonfire. Remember to bring your own beddings/towels or you can request the owner to provide for extra fee. The owner Robert was helpful and easy to get a hold of for any questions. If you want to explore their little town, there's a wonderful pizza place called NEO's Pizza House that served fresh pizza. We enjoyed this house and the cool weather of Running Springs and hope to be back!

Amazing property with so many things to do
We had a really fun time during our stay at Safe Haven Forest Retreat. We booked our small church girls camp at the house and it was perfect. The grounds are beautiful with so many places for the kids to hang out. Book the adventure day: rock wall, zip line, archery/rifle activity. So much fun! Thank you!!

The best family vacation yet!
This place is awesome! Robert has kept this property in perfect condition and we had no issues at all! Check in was easy, the kids explored the property and the fun began. We really enjoyed the fact that everything was on the property. We played basketball, volleyball, badminton, rode the boat, and built a camp fire the first day. Big bear lake is only 8 miles away so we went out there and rented a boat for a few hours. We came back and went on a hike near the property to a nearby creek. The last day was the funnest as Robert came up and helped the kids with the adventure program. This I highly recommend. We did zip lining, rock climbing, archery, rifle Bb gun practice, etc! This place is amazing. Thank you Robert and Myriam for setting up a retreat where families can spend a few days in nature and away from our busy work lives!!!

Our 3,300 square foot residence was built to accommodate 25 people so that we could offer a comfortable place in nature for large groups to enjoy. Read some of the reviews of our satisfied guests.

Or, you can just stay put and enjoy the spacious cabin and activity centers around the property, such as the boating pond, the rock creek and sandy beach, archery & air rifle range, Volleyball court, the climbing wall, the outdoor chess board, the mini zip line with low suspension bridge, the toboggan run and the many paths around the property and into the forest.
