This place is excellent. Its a little further from SJC but a good midway point to SFO if you need to access both areas, which I did on this trip. Ron was an excellent host. I was fortunate enough to meet him when I arrived and had a chance to chat. He showed me around and also gave me suggestions on places to eat/buy food nearby. The unit is a luxury studio, with a generously stocked kitchenette with full sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven and 2 plate stove. Nice touches include a coffee press (in a edition to the regular style drip machine), a clothes steamer (less hassle than iron), a quality Bose sound system, huge TV and a set of shelves which are internally lit and change colours. Very cool. The bed and bedding are great quality and comfortable. Two people can comfortably stay here. Having more than two to eat in is cozy. Access is a little tricky without a smart phone or nav system. Great views from the top. Check out the Methuselah tree nearby. I had one technical issue which Ron resolved promptly despite the fact it was mid evening. I will literally find an excuse to come and stay here again.

Ron did an amazing job.
Ron did an amazing job as a host. He really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and he took extra steps to personalize my experience. The place is beautiful and fully remodeled. I definitely plan on staying there again.

New remodel in the serene hills overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Quiet upscale neighborhood located 5 minutes from downtown Redwood City and minutes to other Peninsula destinations. The unit is separate from the main house with its own gated entrance that leads into a rocking unit that is sure to meet or exceed your expectations. A full kitchen, 60" flat screen, marble shower, USB plugs stations, high-end mattress and 600 count sheets are just some of the features. There are some city light views at night. The unit has a queen bed that sleeps 2 friendly people. I keep it stocked with incredible coffee, tea and other basics to get your through breakfast.
