We loved Tammy's place!
We loved Tammy's place! It was steps to the beach with a wonderful deck overlooking the ocean, which was so amazing for sunset watching and star gazing. We loved how close we were to all the hot spots in Oceanside. Tammy and Dave were outstanding hosts.

Our stay at #5 Pacific Blue Apartment was amazing. I had a job interview in Oceanside and my husband decided to tag along so we could turn it into a short beach getaway. We lived in the area before, so we knew exactly what we wanted out of our stay, and we definitely got it! We had a very minor issue with internet connectivity, and Tammy called me as soon as she got my message with tips for getting us back up to speed. She even called the cable company! TL;DR: the view was great, the host was wonderful. We'll be staying again in the future!

Nice small place
Nice small place, across the street from the beach, nice bathroom, nice kitchen with pans, dishes, silverware, coffee maker, nice flat screen t.v. W Cable and nice ocean view.

Perfect location on the Strand. Walk to the pier, downtown Oceanside shops & restaurants. Large Sunny Ocean View Deck. Newly remodeled inside. BBQ, boogie boards, beach chairs & umbrellas. Queen bed, queen sleeper couch. Fully equipped kitchen.
We are right at the beach and walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants. There is only the one way road called the Strand between the property and the beach. The Strand is bordered on either side by pedestrian walk ways and is a popular place to walk.
The unit has tile flooring throughout. The kitchen & living room areas have the ocean view, and the bedroom is in the back. We've installed a quiet cool whole house fan to help cool the place down. The kitchen does have a dishwasher. There's a flat screen tv and free cable and wifi. We have free assigned parking in our private lot. We are about a 5 minute walk from the pier and the beach in front of our place is not crowded.
Slider doors open out onto the ocean view deck. A nice table with umbrella and chairs provides the perfect place to dine or enjoy the ocean view. We have complimentary beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys available in our equipment room. We have a large propane bbq downstairs on the patio. We have our own laundry facility with coin operated washers and dryers. Our outdoor shower is great for rinsing from the beach.
I live about 20 minutes away from the property and am available by cell if needed. We have a resident manager who looks after things and is able to give helpful recommendations about the area. We have a full time maintenance person on call.
Oceanside's Sunset market on Thursday nights is not to be missed. Food, vendors and music make for a fun time just a few minutes walk from us. There's also a Thursday morning farmer's market. Lots of new restaurants have opened along Mission and the Coast highway.
I love the pulled pork sandwiches at That Boy Good, fresh seafood and ocean view at 333 Pacific, fish tacos at Hello Betty's, great Mexican food at Johnny Mananas, vegan selections at Swami's, the Tin Fish at the pier and many others. Breakfast's are great at Beach Break Café and the Breakfast Club Diner.
We are a half mile from the train station. We are about 45 minutes to the San Diego airport. There are bicycle rentals at the pier and on coast highway. There's a nice bicycle trail - the San Luis Rey Bike Trail near by.
