Our stay on Broadway Terrace could not have been more perfect. (Please insert couple’s names) house was beautifully furnished and incredibly comfortable. The drawers and closets were completely empty, leaving us plenty of room to unpack our bags and make ourselves at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil, dish and glass we might need. This came in handy when it came time to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The showstoppers were the stunning views (of SF! Bay Bridge, Golden Gate and Alcatraz), the heated hot tub (all ready to relax in) and the spacious patios. The large picture windows also made view-gazing easy - we couldn’t stop gazing out across the bay. I could go on and on but I’ll stop. (Insert names) did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I give this vacation rental an A+++!

Beautiful place with a fantastic view
A wonderful place to stay if you are going to be in Oakland. Located in the beautiful hills above Montclare, this property is much better than shown on VRBO. Two bedrooms, two full baths, a very well equipped kitchen, a hot tub makes for a great place to stay for two couples. The property has recently been completely renovated. It has all the amenities you could want. It is extremely peaceful and secluded, yet less than 5 minutes away from the freeway, so you can be anywhere in the East Bay area in 20 minutes and in the heart of San Francisco in half an hour (assuming you aren't trying to go to the City at 8:00 am). We visit Oakland often and this is a definite repeat for us. The owner is very friendly and easy to reach. I called a couple of times before our stay to ask questions and he always returned my calls promptly. You can't go wrong with this property.

A little slice of heaven
Super clean and recently remodeled - this place was so easy to live in. The views are beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet and very safe. The location is 2-3 minutes from the freeway, so you don't have a long drive to any destination. We would definitely return to this home!

Picture Perfect Thanksgiving
I sent in an earlier in depth detailed review, but cannot seem to find it. It was only last week that we turned the key to open the front door to this home and WOW! Just WOW! The owners description simply did not do it justice! The views were more than spectacular. Totally breathtaking. Just as important, the house is amazing. The floor plan well thought out and everything was in pristine condition. We knew we were going to prepare Thanksgiving dinner at home so the kitchen and it's amenities were extremely important. Well, everything was available and accessible. What a lovely space to prepare meals together! The dining room table was perfect for us; nonetheless, we look forward to future visits to utilize the fantastic outdoor eating and grilling area. Downstairs you have the master suite that is both expansive and private with it's own full bath. Washer and drawer down as well and even an office space for that someone that is always connected to his business. This home is nestled into the side of a mountain within a wonderful neighborhood. It is almost it's own private retreat with the careful landscaping the nightly deer visits. We even had a doe and her baby stay most of Thanksgiving day! As awesome as that was, we were still only minutes away from grocers, restaurants, and boutique shopping. Everything was perfect.

2 Bedrooms 2 Baths with new kitchen, floors, windows, garden like front yard in a great area. Has two decks with a hot tub overlooking 3 bridges, downtown San Francisco, Alcatraz and Angle Island. 15 min from downtown San Francisco and close to all public transportation. A dream home!
This home is located in the Montclair district of Oakland a quite community with a Village for shopping , cute boutiques, and great restaurants.
