Minimum StayPerfect in every way!
Mole's Cottage was perfect for our family of 3! Perfect setting, perfect view, perfect decor inside and out and perfect location! We wanted to spend time in San Francisco, but also don't like the crowds. Mole's Cottage was just a short drive from the city, but seemed liked worlds away once you were there. We also spent time at Muir Woods and the Muir Overlook and this was the perfect location for our visit as it was just a short 5-10 minutes down the road. Victoria was great - from her prompt response from my first inquiry to promptly refunding our deposit. My favorite meal on our vacation was the one cooked on the patio grill, setting under the stars in the beautiful garden and listening to the waves crash on the shore :) We also loved sleeping with the windows opened every night, feeling the cool breeze and listening to the sounds of the ocean. Thank you Victoria for offering your little slice of paradise to us. We hope to come back again!!!

A beautiful week
We saw whales, dolphins and pelicans fishing. Humming birds were constantly flitting about the beautiful garden outside our window. The cottage was great with everything we needed. We had a great time. Jeanene and Jim

Lovely, relaxing beachside property
We needed a weekend away from it all, and this cottage turned out to be perfect. Just the right size, fully appointed kitchen, and an amazing garden filled with a vast collection of succulents. It was great for sitting out in the garden to read, or taking a walk down to the beach and just taking it easy for the weekend. Victoria was very helpful in setting up our stay, including helping us sort out a payment glitch due to our last-minute booking, and made our stay very pleasant. We liked it so much, we're planning on coming back twice over the summer, once to the cottage nextdoor also managed by Victoria, and the second time back to this cottage for a longer stay of a week -- this one was a last minute getaway and we wished it could have been longer.

Treasure found in a stunning environment
Our stay at Mole's Cottage was a real treat! The gardens, outdoor spaces and views from the property were stunning, and the cottage, its furnishings and décor, truly beautiful! Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was thought of and made available; we enjoyed every minute we spent at this lovely retreat. Mole's Cottage with it's full ocean views, is next door to The Cottage At Muir Beach separated by it's enchanting private succulent gardens. Both cottages are private residences but are also close enough to accommodate friends and family members who want their own space but enjoy vacationing together.
Mole's Cottage is owned and operated by locally renowned interior designer Victoria Hamilton-Rivers. This is a beautifully decorated property that accommodates 3 people: living room with ocean views and dining, 1 queen master bedroom with garden and partial ocean views, 1 twin bedroom with beach and ocean views, fully equipped kitchen which looks out on to the succulent gardens, bathroom with shower, laundry and closet room.
Spectacular succulent gardens surround Mole's Cottage making it the ideal honeymoon or ocean retreat destination for that much needed rest and relaxation that we all yearn for.
Muir Beach is within easy walking distance from Mole's Cottage - you can hear the sound of the waves from the property and it's set in the spectacular surroundings of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area where the views and local hikes are some of the most stunning in the world.
The property has it's own private off street parking for two cars and is within easy driving distance to Muir Woods, Mill Valley and other parts of Marin County, Stinson Beach and San Francisco.
Mole's Cottage is an extremely special place for those seeking to be close to nature and the ocean but within easy reach of city life.
