What an incredible home! It's a real log cabin - or should I say log mansion. Beautiful comfortable rooms. Such a fun movie theatre bar. We spent the holiday weekend with friend and didn't have to leave at all. Amazing home!

Beautiful home
We loved our stay at the Gilded Lodge. The home is very large and comfortably accomdated our group while we visited Shasta for a wedding. The kitchen is fully stocked; not once were we lacking for a dish or appliance. It's based at the bottom of Mount Shasta, so there are gorgeous views of the mountain off of the back deck. It's about a 7-minute drive from town; you could walk, but it's at the top of a hill, so it'd be a hike up. Suzi was wonderful to work with - always in communication and incredibly helpful. This will be a house that you are so pleased to visit.

Superb, peaceful, comfortable, meticulous, happy
This is the second year in a row I stayed at Gilden with a large group of fellow travelers. I love working with Suzi Wilson, who is responsible to questions and concerns almost instantly..a rare and much appreciated blessing. Gilden is meticulously clean, supplied with everything you could ever need, easy to get to, comfortable beds, private nooks, large decks and a great view of Mt. Shasta. I also appreciate her kitchen which allows for group cooking and is generous in space and appliances to help simplify whatever dish you might create. It truly is a treasure and I look forward to returning!

THE PLACE TO BE IN MT. SHASTA
We recently stayed at The Gilden Lodge for a family occasion. This property is the most wonderful, well appointed house in the Mt. Shasta area. It has four distinct bedrooms which accommodated our complete family. All the adults and the children had a fantastic time, as the lodge made our vacation a complete success. We had a fantastic time sharing this beautiful space and enjoying the hospitality of Suzi the owner. Suzi made us as comfortable as possible, we felt like family. We highly recommend The Gilden Lodge if anyone wants to have an extraordinary vacation in the most wonderful setting; this is the place to be. Thank you Suzi.

Gilden Lodge, situated in beautiful Mount Shasta in Northern California, is a stunning 5,000 square foot hand crafted log cabin which can accommodate 10 people in incredible comfort, has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is available year round.
Located a mile from the town center of Mount Shasta on 2 acres, Gilden has breathtaking views of Mount Shasta and the surrounding mountains. This is an incredibly peaceful and quiet place - the perfect place to relax and unwind, or go hiking or climbing - swim in one of the many lakes- go fishing, golfing, boating or kayaking- ski, snowboard, toboggan or snowmobile - and after a fun day, unwind in our amazing log sauna - then put your feet up and watch a movie in our home theater room on the big screen.
The lodge is fully equipped and designed for your every comfort and is the perfect setting for honeymoons, family reunions or any special occasion.
