Only 25 miles from Yosemite, PineBluff offers visitors excellent access to one of America's greatest treasures. At the same time, the private pool with fenced in patio will relax and entertain your group if you need a rest day. Or have it all, visit Yosemite in the morning, and return to Pine Bluff for some afternoon and evening swim time next to the BBQ.

PineBluff House is ideally suited for families, but larger groups of adults will have so much fun they might think they brought someone's kids along. The house has been in our family for 23 years, and we cherished every moment; we are now excited for you to come and enjoy the peacefulness of PineBluff House and the grandeur of Yosemite.

The Upstairs Master looks out over the pool and surrounding forest. It offers a KING size bed and a FULL size bed, sitting chair, flatscreen TV(with Satellite TV), 2 closets, and is beautifully accented by an antique desk from my father's grocery store. It offers a private bathroom with shower, which is stocked with fluffy towels.

The Downstairs Master offers QUEEN size bed with a walk-through closet featuring custom built drawers, leading to a full private bath, equipped with shower and fluffy towels.

The Bunk Room offers TWIN size bunk bed, with trundle style 3rd TWIN size bed which can be pulled out from under the bunk bed. Shelves hold games, books and puzzles aimed to keep your small(or large) ones entertained for hours.

The Den offers a QUEEN size leather pullout sofa. It also has a 39 inch flat screen TV equipped with Satellite TV and internet functionality. A beautiful table with oak chairs is a perfect spot for a game of cards, or a 4 day puzzle project.

All King, Queen and Double beds are outfitted with goose down duvet covers. All closets are cedar lined.

There is a gourmet kitchen which is completely stocked with modern cooking and baking tools. The open floor plan with bar style peninsula allows the kitchen to flow past the bright and cheerful dining atrium and into the very spacious living room. The atrium boasts an antique dining table equipped to seat, and feed your party of up to 10. The living room has a couch and two side chairs, a gas powered fire place, and no sleeping accommodations so you can enjoy each other without worrying about someone needing to go to bed.
There is a bluetooth receiver which allows you to play or stream music from your phone or device both indoors and out.

As beautiful as the PineBluff House is on the inside, the true gem of this property is the pebble tech patio surrounding a gorgeous black pebble tech in ground pool. With steps and then depths ranging from 3 1/2 feet to 7 1/2 feet, this pool can breathe life back into even the most weary of travelers. With it's black bottom, the sun's heat is easily transferred to the water extending the swimming season on both ends of a traditional pool season. Several chez-lounge chairs and other deck chairs are available for your basking pleasure. Large umbrellas allow you to choose shade or sun. Covered outdoor dining for 10 can be accommodated pool side to enjoy your favorite BBQ prepared on our Weber gas grill. There are outdoor speakers by the pool. Also on the patio is a solar lit 6 sided table for when it is just too nice to go inside at the end of the day.

There is ample free parking on site.

The PineBluff House is tastefully decorated with natural themed photographs and paintings, many by some of our renowned local artists and neighbors. We truly love the PineBluff House and think you will too.

In only 7 miles, you can be driving along the Wild and Scenic Merced River on your way to Yosemite National Park, where visitors can find peace and solitude in the Wilderness, or shop for historic photographs in Yosemite Village, with opportunities for fishing, hiking, and sight seeing among many other things.

Great place to stay during your trip to Yosemite!

Our family loved our stay in Pine Bluff. Highly recommended! Pool was great, very refreshing and great to come back to after a day of hiking in Yosemite. Pool water temp was a bit cool - 78 degrees, which was very refreshing and enjoyed by myself and the kids (a little cold for my wife though). The AC was perfect because the temp was high 90's while we were there. There are not any AC vents in the upstairs master, so the room was rather hot during the day into early evening, but it cooled off during the night. There were a couple great fans that we used that really helped move the air around. Plenty of space, with a lot of beds and rooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. Outdoor pool space/area is great for hanging out, grilling, eating / playing games at the big picnic table. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing location for Yosemite

The house was in a great location for our group of five adults to rest and refresh after a day in Yosemite. I don't know that we can add anything much to the other reviews. The house was perfect for our needs, and descriptions were spot-on. We drove in from Calaveras Big Trees State Park after seeing the Giant Sequoias. We went there because Mariposa Grove in Yosemite was closed, and I really wanted to see the big trees. It was a beautiful drive from Big Trees to Pine Bluff. You might benefit from knowing that Yosemite is a huge park. Based on Chuck's advice, we tried to leave early each morning (by 8 AM) to avoid lines of traffic into the park. On days we did this, we got to Yosemite Village in about an hour from the house. It took nearly two hours to get from Glacier Point back to the house. It's about 15 minutes to Pioneer Market in Mariposa for groceries. The drives are beautiful in any case, and we enjoyed the driving experience and scenery. FYI: the Tuesday after Memorial Day we left the house at 8:40. By the time we reached Arch Rock, portable signs alerted us that Yosemite Village Parking was full. So, we opted to do Glacier Point, Taft Trail, and Sentinel Point Trail that day. It was a bit crowded, but not a problem. Trekking poles are VERY helpful for Sentinel Point Trail. :)
