Minimum StayMagical Stay for our Wedding Weekend
My bridal party and I stayed here for the weekend of my wedding (we got married down the road at Cypress Sea Cove), and it was incredible. Rosie met us when my husband (then fiance) checked in to show us everything we need to know and made us feel so welcome. We absolutely took advantage of the outdoor spa, the pool (which was warm enough for the weekend without needing any heat!), the beautiful kitchen, the outdoor patios/balconies and fantastic sound system. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 11 of us staying there; we never felt crowded or on top of one another. Can't think of a better place to stay or more friendly, informative, gracious owners to rent from. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

A pleasure to do business with!
Although we weren't able to stay at their villa this time, this group was really a pleasure to work with. They were prompt, courteous and considerate. We ended up needing to stay in a different city/location, but working with Hana and the owners made it so that I'm looking forward to our next vacation with the hope of being able to stay at one of their places. The homes look absolutely amazing - and the fact that the owners and their representatives are so considerate would definitely make it a win-win situation. Thank you!

Elite Property
My friends and I were looking for a property in Malibu with all the amenities and this property exceeded our expectations. From my initial inquiry and throughout the stay, Mehrdad/Rosie/Hana were very responsive and accommodating. The kitchen and outdoor grill set-up was first class and allowed us to cook meals without every having to leave the house. The rooms were simply amazing with all the upstairs rooms having balcony access and plenty of breeze. I strongly urge anyone considering a vacation home or even a weekend getaway to choose this property.

Stunning Malibu Property
I travel to Malibu for vacation in August typically every year. I also try to stay at new unique houses each time I go. Villa Calcare was absolutely beautiful. The property has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The pool and hot tub are amazing and the views are great from every room. The bedrooms are very spacious with plenty of room and each bathroom with the exception of one has a great shower with built-in sauna. This is the ideal vacation house to rent in Malibu if you have 5 or more guests or a large family. The in-house movie theater with reclining leather seats was another great touch. Access to broad beach is also less than 5 minutes away and is within walking distance. Lastly, if you like to cook, the kitchen has everything you will need and is decked out with a Viking gas range and Viking refrigerator. There is also an outdoor grill at the pool. If you are planning on dining out, there are plenty of restaurants within a 10-15 minute radius. It's difficult to criticize anything about this property, but in the interest of providing the best review I can, I will list some things that others may wish to know. The downside of being literally right off PCH is that you *will* hear traffic in the morning. It can be heard from every room and there is nothing you can do about that if you are a light sleeper. Also, if you like to sleep in on vacation, don't anticipate sleeping past 8 am. There are no blackout curtains and the drapes are very light and easily allow the sun to brighten every room in the morning. These were really the only things that were an issue for me during my stay.

Villa Calcare is a lavishly built estate on a 3 acres of ocean view grounds boasting the finest hand carved Italian lime stones. It features grand open ocean view living space with 18 feet of folding and disappearing doors, gourmet kitchen with all Viking appliances, 2 family rooms, 4 ocean view suites, private ocean view balconies and 5 bathrooms with spa tub and steam room in each. A private large one bedroom guest suite with its own bathroom, spa tub & steam room connects to the main estate via and elevator. This villa also includes an indoor theatre, wine cellar, two bars, laundry room with washer & dryer, nine plasma tv's and three car garage.
Manicured landscaped grounds includes a limestone swimming pool with three tiered water falls, spa tub, sound system and intricate floral wrought iron fencing. This estate features the state of the art sound and security system and wrought iron European planter balconies. Landscaped circular driveway includes a hand carved limestone fountain in the center and a sport court at the side.
