We stayed at 2024 West View the week of Aug. 2 – Aug.10, 2013 and we have to say we really enjoyed our stay. First of all the location was fabulous, we were so close to all of the tourist attractions on our itinerary. Hollywood, Sunset Blvd., Melrose Ave., Beverly Hills, Staples Center were not far from where we stayed not even Universal Studios. You’re close to all main streets or just hop on the freeway which is right by our location. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and the property was beautifully managed and taken care of. It felt like home away from home. After long days on the go it was nice to come home to comfort and peace. We loved our host Mr. Patton who so welcoming. He was there to answer any questions and give us information and even printed out our tickets even we needed him to. Our 10 yr. old Lola loved how comfortable here sofabed was and loved our host also. She loved having her own tv too. My wife loved we had a washer/dryer in our home, it made unpacking easy when we got home. Everything was clean and neat and even the housekeeper was helpful in telling my wife where items were. We loved our stay so much we told Mr. Patton we’ll see you in two years. We will stay at 2024 West View for sure!

I was in LA for business and stayed almost a week. Traveling to LA can be stressful, but staying at West View help greatly relieve my stress and allowed me to focus on the meetings that I had scheduled. It’s location is so central to everywhere in LA, it allowed me not to worry about getting to my destination on time. It seemed that all of my meetings were within a 20 min radius of West View, including getting to and from LAX. You can reach any freeway and alternate City street traveling course from it’s location. The actual unit was very much a ‘home away from home’, I was not lacking any amenity that I would have had at my own house. That, too, helped minimize the stress of an LA stay. I would certainly stay without any hesitation at West View, again! I actually prefer it over a hotel!T6AUt Enjoy ‘your’ stay!

We stayed for a week in early May (2013). I agree whole-heartedly with the other reviewers. Our vacation was focused on downtown, the beaches, and Hollywood. The location is perfectly centered in “Mid City.” There were a few cool nights, when I could open the windows, and hear the fountain and the birds, and smell the honeysuckle. You are definitely in a neighborhood, not a chain hotel, and if really want to soak up the entire LA experience, it’s nice to be situated in a real live community. The other reviewers are correct about the cable TV: it has ALL of the premium channels, and we were able to catch up with HBO’s “Veep” free on demand. I haven’t seen anyone mention the kitchen– it is VERY well furnished with plates, glasses, napkins, fine cookware, good knives, a blender, tea kettle, etc. You could definitely prepare a nice dinner party, if you wished. We shopped at the great Los Angeles farmers’ markets and cooked in. Also, there is a full linen closet: no shortage of good towels, sheets, blankets, etc. We stayed in the two-bedroom (2026), and each bed had four pillows. The Wifi is excellent, and secure. We had two Ipads and a laptop streaming on the Wifi without problems. The “steam shower” in 2026 is essentially a shower that also functions as a sauna. Truly, there was nothing that we desired that wasn’t there. Thanks, Jim, for making this experience available and affordable.
