We stayed with our 1 year-old twins for a few days and couldn't have been happier. The management was easy to work with and they make sure that you know everything about the house before your stay begins. The house was clean when we arrived and it had everything we could possibly need during our stay. We drove a couple of miles into town to get groceries (and pie, of course) and cooked a lot of meals at the house. It's central to everything in Julian!

Fabulous retreat!
“My girlfriends and I spent the weekend at Ricks place to celebrate a 50th birthday and we had a wonderful time! Rick and his staff are very thorough in their run-through of the house and care a lot about their renters comfort. Great location. Five minutes from the center of Julian. Plenty of room to spread out and sleep everybody. Amenities were awesome. We didn't lack for anything. Really enjoyed the movie theater!!! That was my favorite part of the house! Beautiful location. Loved the sound of the wind whistling while we slept. If you are looking for a great family retreat then this is it! ”

Truly A Gem In The Woods
When Maria from the realty office gave us the initial tour of this beautiful house we thought we were looking at a model home. Everything is new, super clean and very well appointed. The views from the outside decks were fantastic, the living room furniture was very comfortable, the TV was awesome, the kitchen was very nicely done, the bathrooms (and the showers) were great and the bed in the master bedroom was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The only noise at night was the wind blowing through the pine trees and it made for a great night's sleep. It felt isolated and very private, but was still close to town and everything else in the Julian area. My wife and I decided that we want to come back and just spend at least one full day on the back deck sitting in the comfortable patio chairs, taking in the beautiful views and relaxing in the tranquility of this mountain gem. The owner and staff (Maria) were professional, friendly and very easy to deal with. All our questions were answered and the whole process of renting this wonderful house went very smoothly.
