Minimum StaySurprise Birthday Trip
I planned a surprise birthday trip for my husband that included his sister and her husband. We do a beach trip every year but decided to skip this year due to some major home remodeling. We were both really down about not going so I decided to look for something in the San Diego area that we I could surprise him with and thankfully, I came across Nancy's place. We had an amazing weekend with perfect weather. The condo is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The complex was also very pretty and quiet and the views are amazing. We sat outside every night and had dinner and watched the sunset. We were up early to search for shells and sand dollars and everything is within walking distance. I can't say enough about Nancy. She's so nice and easy going, very detailed and it was a pleasure to rent from her. She's very accommodating and always concerned that she has everything there you could possibly need. By far, this is our favorite place and we will definitely be back next year. Thank you Nancy for sharing your amazing condo with others so we can all enjoy a little piece Heaven!

Very comfortable
This was our first experience with VRBO. I really appreciated all the attention to detail around things that make a stay more comfortable. We love smoothies in the morning and Nancy had a nutri-bullet that worked so well we bought one when we got home. Great views of the ocean and loved the front patio...it was a perfect place for our little guy to run around and enjoy the ocean breezes.

Beautiful on the inside and out!
First off you can't beat the view. Even my 2 year old stopped and just stared for a solid half hour when we first arrived! The beach is awesome. Super soft sand, not too many big waves though enough for surfers to put on a bit of a show, and a fun pier closeby to walk on. The patio was easily the area we spent the most time in because it had a great breeze and nice shade from the large umbrella. The condo is great, very near the elevator and easy access to the beach or street. It is SO nicely upgraded on the inside. Very nice furnishings and plenty of room. The owner really goes out of her way to make sure you have EVERYTHING you might need during your stay. Beach chairs, umbrellas, mats, sand toys, boogie boards, tons of beach towels, every imaginable cooking pan/utensil, etc. The beds were great - very good mattresses and my older kids loved the bunk beds! 10/10 Would stay again!

Perfect, relaxing beachfront retreat
My husband and I travelled from Northern California and rented this wonderful condo for a quiet visit with our daughter, son-in-law and baby granddaughter, who live in San Diego. As a fellow owner of a beach rental property, I appreciate all that goes into managing and maintaining a vacation rental property. The owner is great to work with and very responsive. She has given careful thought to every last detail of the property, inside and out. The large ocean-front patio was our favorite place to relax and enjoy watching and hearing the ocean waves crashing and beautiful sunsets. Cooking meals was easy in the well-equipped kitchen. Every possible comfort and amenity was included in the condo, and we enjoyed a wonderful visit together with our kids. We will be back!

The 'Mermaid's House' and it's charming 'beach chic' decor is located on the first floor of a 45 unit three story complex.This ground floor unit is elevated from the sand by the building's seawall and has a large private veranda with a dining table and chairs and several chaise lounges and adirondack chairs with ottomans overlooking the ocean with a stunning view of the Imperial Beach Pier. The interior courtyard features a large heated swimming pool and spa, gas barbeques ,a weight room, outdoor shower and is lushly landscaped. The street-front shops include The Surf Hut (sales and rentals of surfing gear)and Barrells, a Sports bar themed casual restaurant perfect for when you don't want to cook.There is Aroma Thai right across the street and a coffee house next door.
