Newly renovated studio within walking distance of Main Street and all the amenities Huntington Beach has to offer. Enjoy sampling the eclectic variety of restaurants while leisurely exploring the many shops (from modern to quaint), which offer something for all tastes. Tuesday evenings are especially relaxing as Main Street is closed to vehicles which allows for browsing of our Farmers Market, along with entertainment and dining without having to worry about automobile traffic.
Start your day by taking a walk to the end of Huntington Beach's pier as the sun begins to rise and relax in the sounds of breaking ocean waves, watching the sea birds sail on morning breeze, and the smell of saltwater wafting through the morning air. Not to be outdone, the pier offers a wonderful view of the daily sunset allowing a moment of reflection upon your day's activities. Both morning and evening offer, depending on the time of the year, the chance to watch dolphins, seals and whales as they travel, feed, and play.
Huntington Beach offers an awesome beach experience all it's own. There is always something going on no matter what season of the year. Weekends are filled with surfing contests, volleyball - from recreational to professional, outdoor concerts, or just great people watching. There is a paved 8 mile 'Boardwalk' where you can enjoy riding bikes (we have 2 beach cruisers available for use), jogging, walking, or rollerblading where the view changes every mile and is always interesting.
Of course, it doesn't stop there as you will be only minutes away from California's famous Pacific Coast Highway whose views along the coastline include scenic vistas of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding countryside while passing through world famous areas from Laguna Beach to Long Beach and beyond. Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Los Angeles and San Diego are all within driving distance. If you decide you need a weekend getaway, Palm Springs or the mountains are within a two hour drive.
Easy access to the 55, 405 and 73 Freeways. Easy, no freeway needed, commute, to Hoag Hospital Medical Campus, B Braun Corporation, Long Beach State University, UC Irvine, Boeing, Harbor Distributing and John Wayne Airport. Short freeway commute to Long Beach Memorial Hospital, the oil refineries at the South Bay, the Port of LA, Boeing Long Beach, and Long Beach Airport. During non-peak hours, LAX can be reached in 45 minutes and downtown Los Angeles in about an hour.
When your day is complete our studio offers the perfect place to relax. We are far enough from Main Street that we don’t hear the partying still going on in the wee hours of the night, except New Year and July 4th when the entire city gets into the party. The full kitchen allows you to ease into your mornings without having to leave for coffee and breakfast. The free internet service and DirectTV ensure that you stay in touch with work or family and keep up with your favorite programs.
