At an elevation of approximately 7,200 ft. surrounded by National Forest, you can get away from the smog and the summer heat. Daytime temps average around 80 degrees and the evenings cool down to around 50, which makes for a comfortable night's sleep. During the winter months, GVL is a GREAT place to play in the snow. If you're a skier GVL is just 7 miles from Snow Valley Ski Resort and 22 miles from the Big Bear Ski Resorts. The cottage is just a 10 minute walk to the lake and to the quaint little town of GVL, which offers a country store, restaurant and a malt shop/cafe. The lake is regularly stocked for fishing and you can get a daily fishing license at the bait shop. GVL also has a beach for swimming, boat rentals, volleyball and a basket ball court. You can enjoy the Rest and Relaxation that GVL has to offer by staying in our 2-Bedroom, 2-Bathroom Cottage. This fully furnished cottage has all the amenities you will need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Master Bedroom has a queen Sleep Number Bed. Upstairs bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds with a single bed on top and futon couch that opens into a full size bed on the bottom. We have a loft upstairs if you just want to kick- back and read a book or play a little bumper pool or maybe even get a game of poker going. There are two full bathrooms, so no waiting to use the rest room while the shower is being used. We have a fully equipped kitchen, which includes an espresso machine, Keurig K-Cup and a regular drip coffee machine, crock pot, rice cooker, blender, bakeware and pots and pans. The stay also includes access to Direct TV and WiFi internet.
Green Valley Lake is located between Big Bear Lake and Lake Arrowhead Village, which gives you the best of both worlds. Just 18 miles east of Green Valley Lake is the City of Big Bear Lake, which offers wide varieties of activities. 15 miles west of GVL is Lake Arrowhead Village which also offers a wide variety of entertainment, such as the Lake Arrowhead Queen Tour Boat and the Summer Concert Series, where fantastic bands play on 'Center Stage' every weekend and the concerts are FREE.
